It had been 3 days since Gira had battled the Mazoku warrior, Gandigan. It had been a hard-fought battle, even though the Namekian didn't even transform until the very end. She was proud with her performance, in the end forcing him to transform to avoid taking a decisive blow from the Saiyan's most powerful technique. She had learned much during that battle. About her pride, and how important it is to her. Not to mention that such a knock-down, drag-out battle had caused her power to spike immensely. Thank Kami for those Saiyan genetics. She had also gained an immense respect for Namekians and their warrior traditions, Gandigan specifically.
He was the strongest warrior she ever faced, and while he wasn't her teacher exactly, that wouldn't stop Gira from calling him "Sensei!" Unfortunately, she had been greatly injured during the battle, the majority of her damage coming from the final attack he hit her with at full power. However, she found refuge on the Ajisa Continent, where a small village of Dragon Clan Namekians tended to her wounds with Namekian medicine and healing magic. In mere days, her wounds were completely healed. They didn't even leave a scar. 'Namekian healing really is something else...'
She resolved to learn that technique at some point. While she didn't have the time to learn their healing techniques, she did manage to pick up another valuable technique; telepathy. She looked forward to trying that out soon. However, she also came to the Ajisa continent with a bigger goal in mind; meet the Guru of Planet Namek. Before their battle, Gan-sensei mentioned a couple of others she could train with. One was a Saiyan, likely to be found on Planet Plant if Gira had to guess. Gandigan said she might be the strongest in the universe. Even stronger than him, and his power blew everything she had seen out of the water!
It made all the struggles she had up to this point in her hero and personal lives seem like light work in comparison. However, what Gira sought from the Guru was not strength. She figured he had to be strong if he led a race like the Namekians, but more than that, she wanted to find an inner peace that would allow her to rein in her transformation and make it more controllable. She wanted to get her mind in sync with her body and spirit, so as to make the maximum use of her power. The Namekians were said to know all about that kind of stuff, and the Guru should be the best of all.
Gan-sensei said she could find the Guru in the capital, so she first began walking around the city on foot, looking for any Namekians with a high energy signature. Unbeknownst to Gira, the Guru wouldn't quite be what she expected.
