CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
BACKGROUND: The Imhulus. A feared, ancient group dwelling in the deepest depths of HIFL. Just their visage, enough to drive a mortal to the brink of insanity. Their strange, unnatural practices, feared, worshipped...
Or... at least they were, several thousand years ago.
Nowadays, though, they're old news.
The invention of widespread space travel was devastating to the Imhulus. While they were once worshipped across planets for their strange, terrifying appearances and barbaric tendancies, such things were commonplace. Nobody really cared about the Imhulus anymore. Why would they? They were just another primordial, terrifying force among hundreds of other primordial, terrifying forces.
Overnight, they'd lost their niche, and over the following millenia, their worshippers and those who gave them sacrifices dropped to nigh-zero. It was sad!
Clearly, the whole 'unknowable terror' thing wasn't really working out for them. However! It wasn't like being unknowable terrors was the only option they had for gaining worshippers, right?
Mortals liked lots of stuff! All they had to do was find out what that stuff was, and rebrand themselves.
To find out what mortals liked, they sent their brightest young mind, Kythl'gneg, to figure out the puzzle.
In the years since then, Kyth'gneg has been (somewhat) hard at work deciphering how best to present herself and her clan. Her own 'research' has led her to do a fair bit in her short time in the mortal realm- start dressing in peculiar and dark styles, start a news publication, start raising pets, et cetera.
She's trying her best. She'll figure out mortals some day, right?

Abyssal Conduit
For short bursts, Kythl'gneg can summon her brood from HIFL! Instead of making direct attacks herself, her brood does it for her. Since they are technically a part of her, they all share the same power level.
She can also flavorfully summon small, otherworldly creatures with low intelligence to do her bidding. Very convenient!
Four Witches || Deep-Sea Advantages
Kythl'gneg has a series of nine tentacles coming out of her back! Each tentacle is less useful then an arm individually, but Kythl'gneg's skillfull application of tentacle-technique makes them extraordinarilly useful. They vary a bit in size and shape, and can also be used for offensive purposes in a punch.
