Returning To Namek (IO)

Apexle couldn't help but give a smile. "I'm a tuffle. When I was created there wasn't a subject my race didn't make me touch up on" Apexle stated in a more matter of fact way. "You can learn a lot when the only land you have to work with is a hole in the ground" He added with a sadder tone before quickly perking himself back up.

"Ahhh so most of you don't know how to build functional infrastructure. Well then" Apexle said as he raised his finger up letting Ki gather and shoot forward as he created a large circle within the center of the clearing Gandigan had made. "What's important for a functioning city is ease of access." He explained as his finger still shooting out ki carve out four sections onto the ground respectively cutting the areas around the center of the circle into quarters.

He paused to allow Gandigan to speak once more. He listened patiently as Gandigan had spoken. The Tufyan was listening to his comrade while planning out the structure of the city very carefully in his mind.

"Mmm Magic would probably be helpful in a situation like this, however some people might avoid it and attempt to build their houses themselves. I'd suggest building just enough for people to start migrating in, and allowing the citizens to develop housing on their own in the future." Apexle said as his ki shot forward carving a house like picture taking the portion closest to the castle for the safety of the citizens as Gandigan went on.

"Blood. It always come down to blood huh?" Apexle said with a bit of a sigh. "I can't say I don't understands. The Saiyans persecuted my people for the longest time. So I understand your people may have resentment. The coliseum was only a suggestion to avoid bloodshed coming from your city. A growing kingdom will always spill blood. Whether by choice or by force really" Apexle said with a long winded breath. He knew from the countless books of history any thriving kingdom had shed much blood prior to thriving. He was sure Gandigan's kingdom would be no different no matter the path he set out on.

At the mention of tension Apexle let his lips smack. "If your followers and citizens can't understand the usefulness of your allies it's your responsibility to make them. Whether with tooth and claw or by words. If you plan to be king make sure you have rules and laws to avoid your people acting out and attempting to take the lives of those close to you" Apexle explained softer than his previous comments.

"Ahh Yes. I think making the housing area closest to the castle would be the best position. That way the people would be able to sleep peacefully knowing their king was right behind them" Apexle cut in quickly wanting to explain why he'd carved a house into the portion of the land closest to Gandigan. "The center circle can either be a market, meeting place, Arena, or whatever. It's more or less a starting point. The lines should be made into roads so your people have a path to travel on." Apexle explained as quickly as his first comment wanting to assure Gandigan that he wasn't just doodling on the Namekians hard work.

"Your people do have the right idea. Remembering their history is important. I wont be able to rebuild it to the standards of the Namekian people alone though. So I'll need to find a Namekian who might know what it looked like in it's prime." Apexle explained giving a passing glance back over. "Worst comes to worst I can just get some supplies from Earth and patch it up to the best of my ability. Luckily for us old Namekian craftmanship seems to hold well when it comes to age" Apexle admitting a gleam of admiration in his eyes as he looked over the building once more awaiting Gandigan's next comment.

Apexle couldn't help but raise a brow as Gandigan spoke. His friend had though about connecting the roads to other tribes prior to even establishing his own city. Finally Apexle gave a chuckle. "Sorry to say Gandigan, but focusing on your soon to be city is more important than roads leading to the other tribes." Apexle explained with a bit of a giggle. "It'd be best that you not flaunt your city until it prospers a little. Everyone thinks differently, and I don't want you having to deal with more problems just because you want to be friendly with some rowdy neighbors" Apexle explained with a soft smile.

"I understand. Although your conflict is a bit less intense it must be hard" Apexle sympathized with his Namekian friend. Although their planets situations were miles apart he felt as though the matter at hand was just as dangerous as his own kins plight with the Saiyans. "At least you Namekians have enough brains not to pollute your own planet. You have that over the tuffles" Apexle said with a half hearted laugh.

"With a hierarchy like that it's no wonder Namek is the way it is" Apexle mumbled before giving a hum. "Start with simple rules I'd say. For instance no violence among the citizens. No theft, murder, or savagery among your masses. You'll naturally come to terms with new rules and regulations as time goes on, but it's important to let your people know they remain safe inside your borders" Apexle explained as easily as he could. He knew Gandigan might not know the social norms of the galaxy, but he knew the Namekian was wise enough to know right from wrong at the very least.

"Alright a new look for the staircase it is then. That's good, because I'd like to put some railings on so no poor Namekian falls to their death on a rainy day" Apexle said with a bit of a chuckle. "And if we build it back up we can reinforce it with more than the rocks they seemed to have used before" Apexle found himself muttering as time went on. "As for housing. Capsule Corp on Earth had handy premade houses. They might have some made for Namekians as well. I'd suggest grabbing some if not for the residents than for the workers to stay in while we get everything put together" Apexle added as he waited for anything Gandigan had to say.

When Gandigan spoke Apexle couldn't help but rub the back of his head. "I apologize if it seemed like I was taking things too far Gandigan" Apexle started. He figured all of these choices and decisions were something Gandigan had made but never really focused on the little things. "I meant to put it in a soft way, but honestly. If you intend to make the Mazoku strong and a proper united force. Then no matter what you do the other tribes will take notice whether it be a city or capital. Change is often hard, but it takes a strong leader to see it through to the end" Apexle stated simply to his comrade.

Apexle couldn't help but give a hum at the word treaty. "I think a treaty would be a proper start, but collecting and gathering the Mazoku should provide defense enough against outside forces. For Namekians coming in I'd suggest an open door policy. Otherwise it might seem as though your kingdom will be built for the Mazoku instead of being for all of Namek" Apexle explained. "Like those stairs over there the tribes have a long history. There are cracks and chips all over, but nothing the right hands can't fix" Apexle added with a smile. "What I'm saying is uniting Namek starts with accepting every tribe no matter their difference or opinions. Otherwise you wouldn't be united" Apexle explained with a faint smile.

It was then that the mood shifted. Gandigan raised his arm and let ki fill to the brim. "Gandigan?" The tufyan had to question his comrade before finally the ki blast released and Apexle went wide eyed. The soon after fury welled up in the Tufyan.

"Gandigan. You could make the same mistake a million times over" Apexle seemed to growl. "The important part is that you tried. If you give up on things half way through then you're never going to leave behind anything. Not homes for the Mazoku. Not homes for your Namekian brothers. Absolutely nothing." Apexle said with a colder tone than he'd ever taken with Gandigan before.

"The Mazoku never came together because they never had someone to respect." Apexle said staring down at the pitiful Namekian "Give them a reason Gandigan. Show them your strength, and they may follow. You don't have to force them, but strong people attract strong people. So it wouldn't be impossible to change the way to Mazoku live. All the same to give up before you even try? That's just cowardly, and you never seemed like a coward to me" Apexle said sternly. His words not filled with sympathy, but expectation. Expectation that his comrade wouldn't give in before the hard part had begun.

Apexle listened to his friends explanation and apology as best he could. His mind was on a swivel from everything that took place. To the point where his head felt like it was splitting.

Apexle couldn't hold himself back as his right hand slithered through the air pressing roughly against his head. "Yeah opposition" Apexle began as the splitting headache nearly brought him to his knees. His weak legs brought along a voice. Not one of which had spoken once in the conversation.

'One night. All it takes is one night. Help him. Slaughter them. End them. Free yourself from these foolish ideals. Peace will only bring about weakness' The hiss of a voice echoed in his head. Apexle's face immediately turned sour in front of the Namekian as his crimson eyed others words whispered the thoughts into the back of his mind.

"W-We can't play god with anyone's lives, but" Apexle began through gritted teeth and ragged breaths. His fist clenched so hard that skin broke, and a river of crimson liquid leaked from the fresh broken skin. Finally letting a soft hiss echo around the two as his destron filled blood met the fertile ground beneath himself.

'But you are playing god. You're trying to save everyone as if some sort of majestic being is gonna take your actions into account when you're judged.' The voice hissed with a deeper tone into his air, or rather it felt that way to Apexle.

Quickly the Tufyan threw a look behind him as if he'd see a specter of his crueler self. Goosebumps covered his skin showing a definite change in his appearance. A once pokerface like aura was shattered as the air around the Tufyan shifted into fear and suspicion as well as confusion.

When Apexle began to comprehend his surroundings again he heard Gandigan going on about Dend. His lips moved before he could think of the words he wanted to say. "If you destroyed Dend the inhabitants would have no other choice but to move here" The words slipped from his lips like butter from a heated knife.

As Apexle turned back to Gandigan his once pair of blue eyes had changed. A crimson eye gleamed from the right half of his face. A sinister smile laced his lips as he continued. "After all don't those bastards deserve to feel what the Mazoku felt with their decades of oppression" The sinister voice sounded again. "Wa-" A kinder voice came from the left side of Apexle's lips, however before it could finish Apexle's right hand slammed against his left side of his face.

"You shouldn't need walls of a castle to feel safe Namekian" Apexle spat. "Your people should feel safe under your foot. They should know that if anyone enters your domain unwelcomed that they'll be sent to their makers" Crimson Eye shot back. "Otherwise you'll never command the respect you need to properly control Namek. This rock has long since needed a ruler capable of controlling its people with an iron fist. A leader who only wants Namek to be safe and powerful. Otherwise you're forever going to be a blip on the galactic radar" Crimson eye spoke once more. His words filled with ice as if he'd never felt warmth.

There was a bit of a struggle as Apexle tried to remove Crimsons hand from his face, however his body felt weak as if straining to move at all. Like his other had chosen the moment of weakness to strike.

"You shouldn't need protection at first. The Mazoku have only known hardships why would they need protection aside from protection of discrimination. Don't you think they'd think you were looking down on them if you suddenly put guards around them" Crimson Eyed voice was filled with venom now. His words attempting to cut deep into the pride of the Mazoku. "Start off recruiting warriors. People who would happily slay anyone on your command. That's what you need not protection, but dominance. Something very few leaders show nowadays." Crimson's tone was warmer than his last reply. His hand still fighting to hold the other side of his face wincing from what seemed to be pain from time to time.

Apexle couldn't help pushing back. Trying his best to regain control over his own speech, however when his lips opened. It wasn't his own opinions being blurted out towards Gandigan.

"To weaken them of course. Regardless of how hard the Mazoku tried in the past, and I'm sure they tried. They couldn't overpower the other clans of Namek. That's why you're in the position you are now" The crimson eye glanced from Gandigan towards the nearly empty space around them save for the old building. "You'll have to forgive me in saying that your sub-species of Namekians are... To be blunt savage and unorganized. Or rather the ones I've seen acting about, but hey you the other clans aren't much better with their 'tournament of peace' or whatever" A rough hiss came out as the crimson eyed personality spoke of the tournament. A flicker of distaste flicking to his tongue as it left his lips. "Destroying Dend is a precaution if their elders don't want a smart Namekian such as yourself to come into power" The tone of the Tufyan's voice changed from a his to a more sugar coated tone as he gave a smirk. "After all no intelligent species would sit around when a clan they've degraded and tormented begins to gain power" The voice was filled with a harmony of grief and knowing. "If you truly want peace for Mazoku. A place for them to be able not to spill blood. Then others blood must be spilt. It's the price every kingdom pays when it's built" His crimson eye gleamed as he lowered his gaze towards the earth around the two.

"Extermination isn't the goal. The goal is setting a deterrence so frightful that it'll make the other clans stay to their own territory. Of course I didn't mean right this moment, but upon establishing a population you will struggle with borders. With the way the Mazoku have been treated thus far do you honestly believe the other tribes would honor your borders? Even with the Elders permission you'll be faced with opposition" The crimson eyed Tufyan had an edge as sharp as a blade in his words. As if reminding the Namekian of their own history. "You wont need to worry about Dend if they choose to favor an alliance, but a piece of paper wont stop them if they try to invade. Only strength, and reliable warriors" The Tufyan waved his right hand. "Right now it'd just be the two of us. Perhaps three if your friend comes, but do you suppose we would be able to fight all of Namek in a fair fight right now?" The Tufyan questioned giving the Namekian a moment to process the things he'd said thus far.

The crimson eye'd counterpart stifled a laugh as the Namekian closed the bounds to him. With a posture that oozed confidence and leadership the Tufyan didn't have much difficulty as he considered the difference in power when he compared Gandigan to the Human he'd fought on Namek.

"Safety is a hard line to meet" The Tufyan pointed out as his thumb pointed towards the mass of earth the Namekian had freshly created with a small outburst. "Namek's structures last a long time, but when it's compared to a invader like you or I those walls are no stronger than a piece of paper." Apexle pointed out firmly. "You also seem to misunderstand me. You wont need to take control of Namek. If you show strength, courage, and wisdom then Namek won't be conquered by you, but simply gravitate towards you as a king amongst rulers" Apexle shot back. "But a King needs to understand his subjects. So tell me. Has anything I've said so far been anything that a Mazoku wouldn't say themselves?" Apexle found himself questioning the Namekian.

The Crimson Eye'd counter part couldn't help but feel hopeful for the Namekian. His ambitions of being a king as well as building a 'peaceful' society of Mazoku. He couldn't help but laugh in his mind at the foolishness that dwelled within the Namekian's mind. Deciding to play along with Gandigan's little 'project' only so that he might see it fall in the very end.

Apexle didn't budge as the Namekian's hands gripped his shoulders. A rather tighter grip than he'd hope, and yet he knew the Namekian meant no real harm in his actions. "Arcosians, Saiyans, Tuffles, Humans, Konatians, Herans, and even Shinjin. All these species kill one another Gandigan. It's not because of their species, but because of their leadership that these things happen. You shouldn't be condemning the people you intend to lead just because all they have left are their basic instincts to survive, because that's all the Mazoku are really doing" Apexle cooed in a kinder tone than he'd shown so far. As if reminding Gandigan his struggles weren't only his species problem.

"You'll be a strong leader Gandigan. There isn't a thought in my mind that says otherwise, but where as the Mazoku have a bare concept of peace you'll need to inform them. You guard will be helpful, but when it comes down to the hard choices you'll need to be the one to make them. Nobody can protect you from that" Apexle added in another long winded speech. His throat getting sore from all his talking.

"I would suggest you have half your Honor Guards protect you, and the other half protect the citizens as well. As it stands if the Mazoku really are killing each other off in droves. It'd be smart to have people you can rely on to keep the peace at all times" Apexle added to the previous comment knowing that Gandigan would need more eyes on his populace if his plans were to ever come into the light.

Apexle gave a nod to the Namekian as he released him. In the moment the Namekian took to take everything Apexle had said into account the Tufyan spoke. "I don't mean to upset you, however I only speak from experiences I've had myself Gandigan. Although there was never a individual like you who sought so hard for peace among the inhabitants of my planet. The inhabitants of Namek, and the Mazoku tribe truly are lucky to have someone like you to bring them all together." Apexle spoke with a sickeningly sweet tone whilst he spat at his own words in the back of his mind. Peace? Far from it. Apexle knew full well why he was egging on the Namekian. For no other reason but blood and destruction would this part of Apexle help the Namekian.

"Yes I did call the Mazoku savages, but you spoken no words that would make me see it any other ways. My other was with you when you witnessed that parasite being implanted into you. If that's not something a savage would do you're free to take my head off right here and now." Apexle offered extending his hands to his sides at shoulder level. "I'll not even try to stop you, but I'm sure your conscious wouldn't let you forget killing off someone whom helped you when nobody else would" Apexle spoke with a gentle and calm tone playing at the assistance his other had given the Namekian in the past.

"I do will give credit to this Nero fellow you speak of. He seems like a friend to you, and I understand that you view your friends in the highest of regards, however Nero isn't everyone on Namek. A small percentage of individuals respect the Mazoku. It's a fact we're both forced to accept. That being said you wouldn't need to attack first. Conflict will befall everyone at one point. Take that shrine for example. There was sentimental value in it, but that's about it. Yet an invader came to take it. You can't expect that trials like that wont befall you whilst you walk this path" Apexle said in a matter of fact tone. Taking moments of pause to get his sentences out with a less strained breath.

Apexle couldn't help but smirk at the Namekians comment. "Sure you can all take Namek if you wished" Apexle said back to Gandigan. "However you wont. It's not in your nature to do something like that is it? As for those other individuals. Anyone willing to protect this Planet wouldn't allow you to take it over. Not while they have a chance to stop you that is" Apexle shot back. His counter coming from small memories of the fighters whom fought to protect the shrine before. The same individuals Gandigan mentioned earlier.

'Peacefully'

At that word Apexle spat on the ground. "You truly believe that? Or is that something you're telling yourself to try and be the good guy?" Apexle shot with a glare towards Gandigan. "There will come a time when we mention expansion again, however as it stands the thought of it shouldn't be on your mind whatsoever. What should be on your mind is how you'll obtain that crown of yours. After all it seems you need acceptance from so many people. Ones whom wont matter when the territory is built up" Apexle spoke with a chilling tone. His crimson eyes looking through Gandigan. "Elders approval or not. Neros approval or not. I will see that Crown placed on your head" Apexle spoke with a firmness in his tone that wouldn't budge even if all of Namek themselves had shown up to denounce his statement.

"I've no doubts you'll lead the Mazoku well. I have no doubts you have the best of intentions with what you intend to do, but...." Apexle spoke giving a moment of pause before speaking again. "I think you'll find conquering other planets harder than you might think. Take Earth for example. It's a rock in space. So small you'd miss it if you didn't have radars on, however they house a plethera of fighters that even Namek residents wouldn't attempt to fight" Apexle shot back to the Namekian. His tone filled with a reminder that he'd been around the galaxy for quite some time.

"If you really plan to conquer other planets. I'd suggest Konats. The worst you'll face there is a small green rodent and Crotona. The second of which you're already strong enough to beat. As for the rodent depending on their growth you might just be able to crush that one under your foot" Apexle explained simply to the Namekian. Giving himself a moment of pause before a smile came over his face.

Apexle let his crimson eyes close as Gandigan spoke. There was sense in what the Namekian spoke of. Had the other tribes been pushed that far perhaps they'd have turned out no better than the Mazoku had. "Perhaps what you say may be true, however" Apexle spoke as his eyes opened. "I know with you leading the Mazoku. The circle of discrimination won't last much longer. At least that's what I hope for." Apexle answered back. A gleam of concern in his eyes as he spoke. "I just worry that other forces wont allow that is all. I'll mince my words and allow the future to decide" Apexle added.

His thumb quickly moved and use his finger nail to splice open his fingers letting thin droplets of blood release themselves from his flesh. "I apologize. This wont look very pretty" Apexle said as the veins in his right arm pulsed and tensed up showing through his skin as a crimson, purple, and black orb of blood began to manifest itself in the palm of Apexle's hand before he quickly shot it up into the atmosphere well away from the area the two were in. "If I don't bleed myself from time to time the Destron in my veins will weaken me even more than I already am. I figured I'd at least explain that since I wouldn't want to hide the secret from you while doing what I've done" Apexle explained. His need to remove the Destron was of the utmost importance. Far more important than any plans he'd been having with Gandigan.

"I understand. The situation was indeed well and far from what I've ever seen a Namekian do. Actually I haven't seen many Namekians commit any crime. As for Nero. I would say he would be a better ally than Enemy. I don't know much of him though so I've only to rely on your interactions with him." Apexle spoke back a firm tone in his voice as if he viewed the situation as something that may not even come to pass.

"Ahhh." Apexle let out as sigh of what seemed to be relief as Gandigan spoke about lifting the Mazoku up once more. The plans of construction, and the revitalization of the Mazoku as a whole. For a moment he left a pause in their talk before speaking again. "I believe that would be for the best. Perhaps once everything is constructed the clans will naturally come together in peace once more. After all their rivalry has lasted for far too long and spilt too much blood" Apexle said with a soft tone that made his own skin crawl. It was absolutely unnatural for this side of Apexle to enjoy this kind of peace, however he knew the peace would be more fragile than a pane of glass. A single attack could spell the undoing of everything Gandigan planned, and Apexle longed to see that future come to pass.

Apexle let a sly smile cross his face when Gandigan spoke of taking the crown. Like a man after his own heart the Namekian was firm with what he wanted, and for that Apexle had a sort of respect for the Namekian. A creature that balanced both on evil and justice. A creature no too distant from himself. "I'll be looking forward to that day. I assure you I'll bare witness to your rise. Through peace or flame I'm sure you'll be a wonderful sight to behold" Apexle praised giving the Namekian another badge of approval in the back of his mind. The Tufyan was over the moon to find the 'ally' his other had made wasn't some wannabe hero, but a Namekian who would take what he needed or perhaps wanted.

Apexle raised a brow as Gandigan spoke of other worlds. 'What is this fool talking about? I can't imagine the Mazoku or any of his allies enjoying conquering a world with no inhabitants' Apexle found himself thinking with a blank expression on his face. Finally the Tufyan forced a smile that looked no different from the ones he'd displayed before. "What planets might you be thinking of then? Perhaps I've been there?" Apexle found himself curious to the idea that he may have missed a few planets while he ventured around the galaxy.
