BACKGROUND:
About 20 years ago on Planet Earth, the dark wizard Presteaux seeking power and riches dared to use an ancient summoning spell to create a minion of amazing strength. Through the sacrifice of innocent villagers, he channeled enough life energy along with his dark enchantments to summon one of the most feared magical beings of the universe, a Majin.
The Majin that the wizard Presteaux summoned, however, was not one sealed away long ago from terror and fear. Instead, it was in fact a newly born Majin, too young to realize where it was and what its purpose was to be. Prestaeux, not one to be defeated by a spell gone awry, decided to take this situation to his advantage. He would raise the Majin himself, and teach it to be a powerful subject for his evil purposes.
He named the newborn Majin Gaffa, dubbed it to be his daughter, and would spend the next 20 years raising her to become powerful and cruel. Between sessions of magical strength training and endurance torture, Presteaux would take the time to show Gaffa that in order to get what she wants, and in turn what Presteaux wants, she must be selfish and sh must take it by force. If Gaffa wanted to eat, she would have to fight Presteaux's monsters for the right of their food, or attack human settlements near Presteaux's dungeon. It was a rough and horrible upbringing, but how would Gaffa know anything better? This was her normal.
After those 20 long years, the wizard Presteaux had become old and crippled, and realized his magic was fading. Through one final desperation to cling to his desires, he sent Gaffa on a mission: leave the dungeon, become strong enough to kill anyone that stands in her way, and find the mysterious Dragon Balls, the only thing that could revitalize Presteaux and restore his youth and magic.
"Rely on nobody but yourself. Destroy anything that attempts to stop you from accomplishing your mission. Do not return until you have all seven Dragon Balls. This is what you were born for, Majin Gaffa. I expect great things." With that, Gaffa was banished from the dungeon. The wizard Presteaux used the last of his magical power and sent himself and the dungeon into stasis, in order to prevent himself from aging before Gaffa brought the Dragon Balls to him.
It's been two years since Gaffa was given her mission. She had made a base for herself in the east, having killed a family living alone in the forest and taking over their home. Having been unsure how to find the Dragon Balls, she had instead been training herself in isolation fighting wild monsters and braving harsh conditions, preparing herself to face anything that might stand in her way. And now, she was ready.

When faced with an incoming attack, Gaffa attempts to avoid it by throwing out a bunch of harmless energy balls to either take the attack or mislead it.
