Just as she thought, Gan looked the worse for wear. He was slow to stand up, and her signature finishing move had nearly incinerated him. Practically burnt him to a crisp. He was at the end of his rope, it seemed. So was she, but her situation was not quite as desperate. She was going to give it everything. If she couldn't beat him in a non-handicapped bout, then she would at least make him acknowledge her strength by transforming. She had to.
