It had surprised him a little, the people he'd found waiting for him. Having just arrived from the crashed Battlestation Knutts, He'd expected a quick 'In and out' raid—Hoping to find the parts he needed to fix the beleagered Space Station. Plant had been an unknown, just another fringe world that they'd inevitably conquer in their lonesome search for home. He hadnt expected to actually find home.
A short time had passed since then.
Bah... what a hassle! He wondered brazenly. Here I was, Hoping for a good bloodbath... Now I have to meet with the monarch, swear new oaths! BAH! A hassle... Though, even as he thought the words, he didnt bother hide his growing excitement. Even if a big hassle... his mind imagined the grand conquests this new kingdom would surely be waging. Even as he paced down the wide streets of Sadala.
The boys back on Knutts'll be glad, I bet, He thought with a cocksure smile. The Thralls less so, but as long as they didnt make too much fuss, he didnt care. Beyond all that, however, Pars made the active choice NOT to seek out the King or Queen. Again... It was a big hassle. Pars was the type who liked to mentally prepare himself for the mundane duties of Noble livliehood. It was something he stomached only barely.
The Battlestation, and the Kingdom, could wait. For now, he'd go and work off some stress. He'd been expecting a fight, after all.
He found a gravity chamber, much like the ones on Knutts... except that he barely knew how half the stuff worked. The archaic, stagnant tech of the Battlestation was completely outclassed by the new-age, sleek designs of modern Plant. He sat in the midst of the bulbous chamber, scratching his head... completely at a loss for how to get this train rolling.
