Ticoga tilts his head when Cato turns away, from his understanding of the body language, it suggested that she saw this matter as a point of obligation, rather than in genuine interest. Which was fine - Ticoga would show her in due time as she chose to be around Imperial controlled space that working for the betterment of the Empire was a more fulfilling life than one of piracy.
In due time.
"I would not ask you to make such a promise." Ticoga assures Cato. "I hope to eventually convince you to become part of the Empire without trying to talk you into it. Instead, witness what I strive to achieve, and perhaps one day you will become part of it of your own volition."
Ticoga looks at his scouter, and as he does so, the ship suddenly drops.
"There we are, a safe landing." Ticoga says, smiling. "Now then, I believe you wanted to personally make sure that your two associates are safe. If you will accompany me to my ship, you may collect them."
At that point, something blurbs from Ticoga's scouter, and he nods.
"Very good. Technicians will be arriving within the hour to conduct baseline repairs - just enough to get the ship airborne and to the nearest repair docks." Ticoga says to his scouter. "And the prisoners? ...Good. No, the prisoners that remained locked in their cells may live. Those that escaped? ...Good. Toss the corpses to the ocean."
Ticoga refocuses on Cato.
"This way, Miss Cato." Ticoga says, turning away from Cato and walking away, hands clasped behind his back.
Back aboard the Relentless, which hovers protectively above the Indemnity, Ticoga would lead Cato through the bottom hatch into the ship. A short walk and two lifts later, the two would arrive in the ship's brig. Sentry, the shining silver android, stands guard.
"Sir - as you requested. They are unharmed." Sentry says. "Your command was very nearly late; but they are not injured, save for the bruises suffered from their escape pod hitting the water."
In the cell, walled off from the main room by a transparent glass, or perhaps metal, Cato's targets sit wrapped in thick towels.
