“Yes. That one.” Budoshi responded decisively; though he had to admit it was quite the pick for a place to eat! Even a quick scan of the menu was quite exciting despite not being in his usual mood to make some sort of outrageous or purposefully ridiculous comment. Honestly, Budoshi might even have trouble picking out what to go for first! Good grief what a vexing conundrum. If nothing else, the name of the vendor would be noted for later— they could always return to this place to find it or luck out with it being a restaurant chain as well outside of this location.
Budoshi’s eyes darted around the visible menu with his free hand at his chin as if he was rapidly making quantum physics calculations. He would only stop once Flambréra spoke up again, drawing his attention with more than just a few words. “She proved herself masterfully capable in combat, to be worried about her physical safety is to be laughably ignorant bordering on frivolity. No, my dear Flambréra; I am not worried— I am unequivocally livid.” Budoshi spoke in an unexpectedly cool manner, using clearly formal language— this was not something he would do unless he was absolutely and righteously furious. “You heard me earlier. You know what I saw in her eyes. The results of that insidious plague that is undue judgement and a purpose decreed and demanded by another.” Budoshi’s free hand balled into a fist and his hold on Flambréra’s hand became slightly tighter, but not enough to hurt her. “It sickens me to no end, and I would in fact love to instead currently focus on purchasing a phenomenally greasy and filling meal without the need for cutlery alongside with one of approximately seven people that understands me the most before I violently implode due to hearing the vomit inducing yet masterful use of my ever expanding lexicon.”
Oh dear Kais above this boy was having one hell of a moment. Budoshi inhaled and exhaled sharply. “I know that you would not do what you did if there was no meaning behind it. I respect your decision, and the offer to continue our contest is, as always, deeply appreciated. I dub thee my one true rival for a reason.”
