Charlotl appears to be a humanoid version of an Axolotl. With bright pink skin and purplish gill stalks that form in a pattern resembling a mohawk. Her eyes are cyan with deep black pupils. Most of her body is tattooed with luminescent green paint that glows in the dark. The tattoos form an outline of a humanoid skeleton on her body.
She is almost always dressed in a baggy white vest, ripped jeans and a leather jacket made to hang off one shoulder. Headphones are usually slung around her neck. She is practically always carrying around her custom made skateboard.
BACKGROUND: Eggs from Charlotl's homeworld of Mudrest are often sold in batches on the market as a delicacy to the elite, rich and famous of the galaxy. On exceedingly rare ocassions. The retrievers that visit the world to steal the eggs make a mistake, and grab a batch of already fertilised ones. In most cases these batches are destroyed, but in some cases an egg slips through the cracks. Or in others, a sympathetic worker takes pity and rescues what they can.
Char was one such rescue. Though she would never know the name or face of her rescuer. Though she never came to know this, what transpired was as follows.
Her rescuer was an Arcosian. One of the workers tasked with destruction of 'bad batches' of eggs and apparently reaching the a moral crisis at this stage of their career. They knew that if they tried to rescue a whole batch of unborn they would be discovered immediately and their efforts squandered, but if they could save a few. Just one, they'd have done something right. And so it was that the egg containing Char was saved from destruction. The Arcosian immediately took a shuttle to the nearest planet, which just so happened to be Earth. They placed the egg in the nearest body of water they could find. Which unfortunately happened to be a sewer. And then, supposedly, departed.
By sheer luck or possibly plot armour the embryo was able to develop just fine, seeing as a group of sewer alligators took it upon themselves to adopt the small thing. Eventually, the egg hatched into a baby Charlotl, and her life began with Alligator parents.
In her childhood Char became fascinated with music. Always poking her head up to pipes, grates and anywhere else that she could hear the sweet vibrations of Earthling performance. Over the years she would steal and scavenge bits and pieces to build her own radio and play her own music. This is how she would learn to speak as the Earthlings did.
In her teenage years she would gain a second obsession. Skateboarding, something about the rolling wheels, the death defying tricks and the cool outfits appealed to her in some strange way. So in nights to follow she would begin stealing clothes to form her own cool skater outfit.
The day that changed her life came when she was sixteen and the pamphlet for a Central City talent show came flying through the grate, probably dropped by someone on the street. By this point she had..."acquired" many things from the world above. A guitar, a microphone, many vinyls, a mix deck and of course a plank of wood with some wheels on it. She'd had long dreamed of becoming the first Alligator Pro-Skater/Star Musician on Earth, but now as well as dream. She had a goal.
The day soon came. Her first day on the surface. Her nerves were rampant as she soon found herself surrounded by Earthlings of all shapes and sizes, all immensely talented and most of them staring right at her. Many times the thought crossed her head of just quitting and flushing herself down the nearest toilet, but she pushed all of that out of her head as best she could and went to perform. Her talent? Skateboard DJ-ing. A most normal and simple talent.
It, didn't go well. She didn't even make it past the first round of the show. It probably didn't help that her 'skateboard' had snapped halfway through the performance. Heartbroken, she went on her way to find the nearest toilet. But instead she came across a skate park. Disheartened as she was, she almost didn't hear one of them call out to her for a song, but as luck would have it. They called out again, and grabbed her attention by whistling loudly. Unsure but eager for a second chance of approval, she obliged.
There was nowhere to plug in her deck. So she decided to go acoustic with her guitar. She was familiar with the type of music skaters enjoyed and she played her little heart out right there and then, and it was here that she found her first crowd. They gifted Char her first proper skateboard that night.
The rest as they say, is history. She played at the skate park again and again. As the months went by she drew larger and larger crowds. Soon even non-skaters were gathering around to hear her perform. She grew in popularity in the underground music scene over the years and has become a bit of a minor star on Earth. Known for her absolutely off the wall performances. Just recently she raked in enough Zeni to buy a house with a pool large enough to fit her alligator family.
Life is good, and the Pro-skating, DJ-ing Rockstar is still rising. But something is still missing. She wants more. She wants...a band!

Char pulls out some of her best dance moves in order to swiftly punch and kick her opponent. Some say that those struck by this technique can hear her latest mix ringing in their ears.

With the power of an indestructible skateboard and the skills of a pro-skater Char is able to perform some sick tricks, such as ramping off her opponent's face, tripping them up with the skateboard or indeed, just smacking them with the skateboard if all else fails.

Medium Offensive || Kickflip Kombo
Char leaps off her skateboard and activates blasts it towards her opponent with a wave of sound. Following the initial impact she will then follow up with a flurry of her own soundwave enhanced strikes. The crescendo being her leaping off her opponent to land back on the board.

Calling this move simply an Ollie is a bit of an understatement. In reality it is an Ollie so perfect and so blindingly fast that it may enable her to avoid an enemy attack.

A good song can move people. A GREAT song can move anything. Char lays down a sick beat, creating a dense barrier of sound thick enough to disperse energy.

Char plays her latest mix at full volume. Some say you can hear the crowd cheering even in an empty room. The sheer force of sound coming towards her opponent can be incredibly damaging and the encouragement it provides her fans is all the reward she needs.

Support Technique || MAX Power
You may activate Max Power at the very start of your post, increasing the power of all of your techniques by +10% while active. This will prevent you from using evasive or escape techs, blocking escapes, and intercepting attacks meant for others. You can only turn it off at the end of a post, at the end your second post after activation at the earliest. If you run out of MP, you lose Max Power's effects at the end of your post and cannot gain any MP on your next turn.
Utility Technique || Audiokinesis
Music is in Char's very soul, and that soul has a big aura. Char is able to create and manipulate soundwaves to enhance her techniques. [Just flavour, provides no mechanical benefit.]

Charlotl herself cannot fly. She does however possess a Skateboard that is secretly a hoverboard, which is almost as good.

Char's mixdeck is built in such a way that it would be nigh impossible for two hands to operate it effectively. That's why she has four instead!
