Shroom Plan Big [Conquest]

“Yeah, nah, you know what, true, nevermind.” Nero chuckled, Pankaa made an excellent point on the matter— there was obvious merit to not lowering oneself to the mockery of others. “Not worth the effort anyway if he just wimped out instantly and ditching a supposed ally.” He shrugged.

Truthfully, Nero had expected things to go far worse than they did. He had honestly expected Shroom or the ones bound to his control to lash out, but it seemed as though they were not incapable of seeing reason, as much as the body language displayed the intent to take a massive risk. Either the Otherworlders chose themselves, or Shroom demanded that they not choose violence, whatever the case, and as much as Nero would prefer the former, ultimately, they backed away.

Nero sighed, not sure if these fellows fully understood what he was getting at. If they had instead chosen to reconfigure their plan right here and now to go with a more neutral and culturally appealing option with consideration to the Mazoku then Nero would have gladly helped. “Look, just, don’t get yourselves into some big trouble with someone that won’t try to talk things out first.” It was a kind warning, despite everything. Simply put, some folks just weren’t as liberal with chances or kindness as Nero and his comrades happened to be.

Zerori’s apology soon reached him, but he understood most of what motivated her so he didn’t see much of a need for the apology really. ’I guess there are better ways to approach things like this, but know this— your heart was in the right place.’

Shroom chose to telepathically speak to Nero, and he raised a brow. A tad strange to not just speak up, but Nero wasn’t expecting much— for all he knew, Shroom was actually mostly non-verbal. Rather than respond telepathically himself, Nero opted to just let his voice carry up to the little Namekian. “I would hope that we do not meet on worse terms. I cannot tell you just how tired I am of people causing trouble on this world.” Another warning, and while stern, it was as kind as the last one.

Either way, Nero made no attempt to stop Shroom and his entourage from leaving, just having the opportunity to maybe teach them how to be better people was enough progress for now. Nero conjured a myriad of self-duplications, collectively rising into the air, with some using telekinesis to catch the falling former patrons of the conjured nightclub.

Amara addressed Nero shortly after. “Oh trust me, it could have gone much worse. I really should catch you up on stuff that has happened in the past. Anyway, I appreciate that you’re scoping things out all the same.” As far as the large slithering skulker was concerned, their explanation was... Certainly an explanation of all time. “A..huh. Well the Fl’uud waterfall is tended to regularly, I’m certain that any damages have been fixed. That doesn’t excuse your careless behaviour on the matter, however.”

Nero raised a brow with concern, he had to agree with Amara on this one; he didn’t think Kabe was going to buy any of that. “I would suggest that you leave before his patience actually runs out.” It was a wonder that it hadn’t already, in Nero’s opinion.

It was up to Kabe on what to do about the big guy now, so Nero gave Amara a quick nod as she tried to take her leave. Looking over to Pankaa, Nero gave a light shrug. “I guess that’s that, huh?” Nero briefly wondered if that bundle of wires plus kitchen appliances was alright, and he eventually heard it milling about nearby. “I wonder what that thing’s deal is, it seems docile enough.” Robotics, tech and engineering were part of Pankaa’s interests, so Nero thought he was among the best to handle something like that. “Anyway, I think it’s fine to head out, you can tag along with me or just do whatever you want, up to you bro.” Nero rolled his shoulders, choosing to briefly examine the castle itself. Maybe something should be done soon, or if that Shroom fella was willing, he could be convinced to help the right way.

Plus, if that worked, there were other larger matters that Nero might want to concern himself with— the full unification of Namek’s people. He had taken many steps to bridge the gaps with protecting the planet, strengthening its health, reaching out to many people and ensuring that they were living their best lives, participating in many local events, but maybe sometime soon he would find himself wanting to be more bold and direct— but it may need to wait until after the Trial of Peace concluded, which was another big thing Nero was a part of.

With that considered, Nero started to take off into the sky...
