CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
Responses were varied. Warriors pushed their bodies further than ever before as they trained and prepared to face whatever new foe would turn up in the future. Politicians gave rousing speeches and enacted reforms to protect the people and give them more control over individuals with terrifying abilities. And of course, the scientists and mad geniuses of the world experimented with frightening new weapons to combat whatever threat might cast its gaze towards Earth next.
Androids of all sorts were created and tested, but no matter how advanced it was, a machine was still a machine. Simple and inflexible. Nothing more than a drone that followed orders, something that not even the inclusion of magic could fix. But why settle for a mere robot, when you could combine both man and metal instead?
A willing subject was found, and the project began anew. Technology and sorcery combined created a body of armoured plates and artificial muscle, and prior experience in Kenjutsu gave the cyborg a way to use it in combat. But just as the project reached the final stage, ethical concerns tore the scientists overseeing it apart, threatening to shut things down. Just as it looked like the enhanced warrior would be put on ice for good, he took his chance and fled into the wind, leaving his old life and name behind him.
Adopting the name Hakumen due to his new appearance, he took up the life of a wanderer and lent his blade to those who needed it. But deep down, the cyborg couldn't help but yearn for something more. Something to live and fight for.
All he had to do was go out and find it.

Lunging forward, Hakumen quickly thrusts the hilt of his sword at his target in order to strike them with the pommel. If his weapon is not available, he can instead lash out with a lightning-fast punch or kick.

Medium Offensive || Spirit Slash || Starting Technique
A powerful slicing attack. Hakumen readies his sword and after imbuing it with ki, swings it against his foe in a vertical, horizontal or diagonal cut. Should the enemy not be close enough to be hit by the weapon itself, the cyborg may instead choose to release the energy at the target during the swing in the form of a crescent-shaped blast.

In response to an incoming technique, Hakumen quickly shifts himself out of the way by either bending his body just enough to make the attack miss or moving so fast to a different location that it seems like he had teleported to dodge it entirely.

After raising his sword, Hakumen swings it right at an incoming attack to stop it dead in its tracks. If it is too strong to halt entirely, any damage he may suffer afterwards will be severely reduced due to its power being cut away by the edge of his weapon.

Heavy SPARKING Offensive || Judgement of the Sword: Roaring Thunder || Starting Technique
Sparks of lightning surround Hakumen's body and his aura explodes into being around him as he focuses his power and winds himself up. When ready, he near-instantly crosses the distance between himself and his target and performs a single, unstoppable slash with his blade that can carve through any shield or defense put before it.

Support Technique || Absolute Focus (MAX Power) || 20k Technique Slot
By casting aside everything but his sword and the enemy in front of him, Hakumen can enter a temporary empowered state in which bluish-white energy will continuously flow from his body and weapon to increase the power of his techniques.
Variants: MAX Power: You may activate this technique at the very start of your post, increasing the power of all of your techniques by +10% while active. This will drain Momentum at a cost of -1 MP per post and prevents you from gaining MP naturally, using evasive or escape techs, blocking escapes, and intercepting attacks meant for others. You can only turn it off at the end of a post, at the end of your second post after activation at the earliest. You will still consume MP and not regain any MP on the post you turned it off on. If you run out of MP, you lose these effects at the end of your post and cannot gain any MP on your next turn.
Utility Technique || Ki Sensing || Starting Technique
A technique that allows you to sense, measure, and differentiate the ki signatures of ki attacks and all living beings without the Anti-Sense trait. Higher ki signatures are easier to sense and can be sensed at greater distances than lower ones. This technique is passive and does not use KP.

Alongside being able to use his ki to fly through the skies, Hakumen is also able to create solid platforms of air to stand, move and brace himself upon.
