Deep within the Korin Forest, Moire has found herself stuck once more. Not physically, of course, she was doing a lot better in that department ever since the incident on Namek. Though there were still a few visible strands where her arm and leg were severed that haven't properly regenerated, the majin was back at peak performance. No, for the purple majin is was moreso she was stuck in place on a more metaphorical scale, still unsure of what to even do anymore. She had a concrete goal when she first arrived on Earth, to absorb the people and claim their power for herself so that she can be restored to her full power from before. She sought to complete such a goal on Namek, but... It wasn't meant to be.
If she couldn't accomplish her task on Namek, then how could she expect to complete it here on Earth, or even anywhere else for that matter? Everywhere else was either far too weak to provide any significant boost to her, or were far too powerful for her to just waltz in and take the power for herself. What associates she has made before weren't loyal enough to stick around and back her up, so where was she supposed to go now? Lick her wounds and try again? What was she to expect now? How was she supposed to grow strong enough to challenge the shinjin and exact her vengeance?
Her visit here in Korin Forest had another purpose, however. Moire didn't just have the intention of being all alone with her thoughts, but also to dish out her inner frustrations. Moire fired off ki blast after ki blast into the woods, bringing down trees and shrubs alike with each blast, almost clearing a short path for her to traverse before blasting the trees next to their fallen comrades. She constantly swapped between blasts and waves, cutting down more and more of the plantlife in front of her and overall causing chaos across this small patch of forest. She didn't have the intent on bringing the whole place down, but she needed a way to vent her growing frustrations, and cutting trees seems to be perfect.
As she was about to cut down another tree, however, she notices that something else was nearby, and her eyes gaze upon a lone doe, staring right back at her as she charged up a ki ball to fire off at the tree behind it. She hesitates for a brief moment as she looked at it, wondering to herself why she wasn't quite firing right at her. The ball dissipates before her fingers begin to crackle with lightning, the purple majin believing that perhaps she wanted a bit more of a reaction out of this one. Yes, that's it, giving the doe a little shock will be a nice little way to get those frustrations out... So why wasn't she firing?
As she continued to stare at the doe and the doe stared back, her sadistic smile slowly begins to fade away as she continued to receive flashes in her mind, flashes of the likes of Patrona, Mudo, and his family, though she didn't know why. They were the ones she had encountered after the fight on Namek, and despite her crimes, they had shown her such kindness, such warmth that she hadn't received before. Her arm begins to shake as the lightning dancing between her fingers was starting to spread across her hand. Moire grabs hold of her forearm with her other hand, trying to keep herself steady, though it still continued to shake. All this time, she and the doe continued to stare blankly at each other, Moire's eyes softening with each passing second with her just looking at her.
