NAME: Mephisto
ALIASES: Zulli Faust, Lance Corporal Faust (When Zulli is in control)

CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS

Taking the appearance of an adult Earthling woman dressed in gothic, almost fantasy-like purple armor, the medieval plate armor covers a black lace dress emblazoned with symbolism of bats and other creatures of the night. Her blonde hair and blue eyes similar to that of her closest friend and ally Kim, however much longer and brighter than the veteran soldier. Her skin is smooth and missing of any damage or fracture aside from a scar on her center chest from her execution, long-since healed over. In her most recent pictures, she has been seen wearing a golden crown on her head, and wielding a large magically-created sword with a double-edged black blade. The sword seems living almost, with a noticeable eye in the hilt that watches the battle and blinks/winces during combat.
When endangered, Mephisto's mask form materializes around her face and appears for all to see. This mask is an Oni mask showing the colorful face of a demonic creature with large teeth and horns rising from the sides. This mask is constantly exuding dark smoky vapor as a side effect of it's power, looking like a black fog is pouring from the mouth of the monster.

BACKGROUND: Unlike many of the bio-androids who find themselves created at the hands of mad scientists or aspiring masters, Mephisto's entire existence was created as the result of an accident. The product of monstrous demonic magic and evil tests done immorally on innocent people. For, to be Mephisto is to be two people in one. The one who's body was taken and used is Zulli Faust, an aspiring young soldier who was unfortunately slain during a mission gone wrong. The one who's almost entirely in control is the mask which has become one with the corpse of Zulli. This mask is named Mephisto.
Mephisto the mask was created as an experiment to revive a dead body by allowing a born demon to inhabit it and retake control of the body and mind. His unknown creator wishing to see if he could make demonic versions of other species by forcing demon parasites to possess recently deceased aliens. This plan was put into action after the laboratory that held the inert mask was given a recently deceased woman from a combat zone who showed signs of being an excellent host and test subject.
Applying the oni mask to her face, it bonded with her body and began to restart all biological functions. Rewriting her DNA with genetic code from rotten apple demon material and reviving the poor woman from her untimely demise. However, as the mask absorbed into the skin, it fought for control of the host. The two clashed inside the mindscape for weeks, before the creator deemed them a failure and dumped the comatose test subject into the literal trash, and leaving the imperfect being on the curb in South City.
By the time Mephisto won temporary control, she was alone and afraid. Her life was brand new, she had just been born with all of this knowledge and the memories of the host body. Unable to cope properly, she went into hiding in the wilderness and stayed away from humanity for many months. Her and Zulli waged a war of the psyche daily to see who would get to own the newly upgraded body, and after many months of progressively beating each other back, the two came to an agreement and decided to help each other. Mephisto gets to survive and live, while Zulli gets her closure and revenge on her betrayers. They both concluded that the best course of action was to seek out the closest friends and comrades Zulli had prior to her death and seek whatever help she could get from them. Maybe, just maybe, some of her old squad lived and waned revenge as well.

Demons Gone Wild
By expelling magical energy, Mephisto is able to manifest outside of the body to engage in combat mode, manifesting the mask and sword.
Magical Materialization
Through the use of demon magic and a strong will, Mephisto is capable of producing just about anything he might need from thin air or by transforming something else. (Incapable of producing shop items).
All power is flavored as magic, not ki. Still detectable and stuff.
