Lieutenant Commander Kimono

Don't let Kimono's petite stature fool you, this 5'4" woman is a force to be reckoned with. Her toned and muscular frame is complemented by her striking blonde hair and piercing green eyes, which seem to convey a sense of confidence and strength that radiates from within. Across her upper arms and chest lay small to medium sized scars and incisions, products of her years of service and shrapnel damage that tell stories of her time in combat and what she experienced in the field of battle. When her hair isn't pinned back with her cap, it's length reaches just the bottom of the small of her back, and covering her face just slightly.
For clothing, she's most commonly seen wearing her uniform and gear, taking advantage of the space and utility of it, while also providing her with something familiar to hold onto. Her fatigues are camouflaged in multicam for a more woodlands style of environment, and overtop is leather rigging with many pockets and pouches attached, as well as her holster for her weapon. Whenever she isn't rocking her fatigues, she is most often wearing whatever random civilian clothing she acquired that fit her, her favorite styles including more grungy t-shirts and cargo pants for the maximum undercover utility.
BACKGROUND: Kimono was born to a tribe of nomadic earthlings who lived and travelled in the Western Wilds to survive and make their living. Her early life was uninspiring, grueling manual labor to try and stay alive in a mostly unforgiving world. That was, until her parents sent her away to East City to train with extended family in martial arts and learn the ways of the protector. They needed more physically capable fighters to protect their tribe when the government of the planet could not. What her family didn't expect, was Kim's immediate signing onto the Earth military when she turned eighteen years old, sending her down her career path as a Naval Officer for the Earth Navy and Marines.
Sent off after training to fight against minorly ki-powered bandits and rebels across the planet, Kim experienced years of constant deployments across the globe taking on whatever threats the government deemed too minor for heroes or more serious fighters to handle. Her record was stellar, with numerous direct encounters won by tactical skill and sheer force of will with her ship and crew she served with. It seemed like she had finally found her calling in life. This was all until Kim was chosen for a black ops mission tasked with the internal investigation into the current administration, and their involvement in something she was not privy to knowing. Unable to complete her task due to interference and the president's resignation, Kim was black-listed and accused of the act in a bid to cover up the entire investigation. After a few years in prison for the accusation, she was just freed by an unknown Tuffle handler and given a new task, in exchange for her freedom. If she wanted to stay free, she would have to make her way to Planet Plant and learn more about her newest assignment. Off the books, as usual. She couldn't say no to an offer as sweet as this one.

Sparking Offensive Heavy || Apocalypse Now
Overcharging her Hutong Whips with all of her available energy, Kim begins to thrash about while swinging and slashing her whips in the direction of her foe, all while "broken" arrows of energy expel from the whip as it strikes flying wildly in the area surrounding the attack with no regard for who might be in the way.

Through training and practice, Kim has figured out how to detect people's ki signatures and gauge them (roughly) to herself and others.

Utility Technique || Hutong Whips
Channeling her ki through her arms, both become wrapped in a thick purple mist and two purple ethereal dragon bodies reach out and act as whips or arm chains for her to use to grab things from a distance or fight with. Mostly used to get around places.
