Guardians have access to both Core Traits and one Optional trait.
Core:
SAIYAN PRIDE
When you have sustained 100% or more damage, you gain a +10% boost to all techniques, but you may not boost techniques with momentum. Healing to the point where you have less than 100% damage sustained deactivates this bonus.
BURNING KI
Once per thread, you may spend momentum in increments of 2 to regain KP at a cost of 2 MP to 1 KP.
Optional:
ZENKAI
Upon being damaged 150% or more in one thread, gain a +10% bonus to thread completion. If you heal from 150% or more, you may gain that completion bonus up until that point mid-thread, for immediate application to your PL. Only usable in Action Threads, and only occurs once a thread.

RAW TALENT

CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
APPEARANCE: Raizan is relatively small compared to other members of hi race. He stands at roughly 6'2. His body has numerous minor scars all over it from years of conflict but nothing that really stands out. One would have to look really closely to see them. He is pretty built and muscular from years of training but has a rather slender frame. He weighs roughly 170 lbs. For clothing he wears a solid purple and black Kai outfit made famous by the Shinjin. It is an identical ensemble to his new traveling companion. He has dark spikey hair that stands up a couple inches above his head and is always messy. His eyes are a jet black like most members of his race. His tail is about average for Saiyans of his size and is rather thick compared to most. His tail has dark jet black fur that perfectly matches the color of his hair.
BACKGROUND: Raizan was born on planet Plant. He is the youngest of his three siblings. He grew up like most other low class warriors of the Saiyan race. His days were spent constantly battling amongst his brethren and other members of his race for glory and standing. He was considerably stronger then the average Saiyan but flew pretty much under the radar due to his low standing from birth. He hated life on plant. He loved battle but the constant fighting and politics surrounding the Tuffles left a sour taste in his mouth. He also was not a giant fan of the Saiyan leadership and the laws he was forced to live by. He wished with all his heart that he could escape.
One day when he was out hunting for food in the wild he stumbled across a young boy. The boy was neither Saiyan or Tuffle. Intrigued, Raizan would watch the young boy from a distance in an attempt to gather more information. He was about to leave and continue on his way when a giant creature emerged on the Horizon. It charged the young boy who was now napping at this point. Raizan was to far away to stop the creature before it impaled the boy in the Torso. The Saiyan rushed out and put the creature to rest with a quick Ki blast.
It took a couple days to nurse the boy back to health. His name was Haru and he had been on deaths door from his wounds. During that time Haru explained that he came from a place called Otherworld. He was on a mission to explore the universe and all the life within it. Raizan could very much relate to the young boys desires. Haru informed Raizan that he needed to find a guardian to protect him or else he would be forced to return home. Raizan was reluctant at first but the boy was persuasive. He also had the ability to instantly travel between worlds. Raizan saw this as his escape. Since it was hard to get a space ship this could be his one surefire way off plant and a chance to explore the cosmos. Raizan agreed to help the child and just like that the two were off. Using the boys Kai Kai ability the two vanished to a far away planet called earth. This is where their adventure starts.

TECHNIQUES: You start with Three Standard Technique Slots and One Sparking Slot that you can use any way you like. Some species start out with an slots. You also start with two additional Utility Technique Slots.

Description: Raizan will fire a compressed beam from his palm in a straight line. It is cone like in shape and roughly the same size in diameter as a full grown man

Heavy Sparking Attack || Otherworldly Wave
Description: Raizan will place his palms together in front of his face and form a ball of ki that is equivalent in size to a basketball. He will continue to pump energy into it until the point it is about to explode. When it does explode it erupts from a single point and expands wider the further it travels until it is wide enough to take out whatever target Raizan is aiming at.

Utility Technique Name: Magic Materialization
Description: With instruction and aid from Haru, Raizan is learning how to conjure things using magical abilities. He is still a novice and can only summon the most basic of things such as clothes. Larger or more complicated things take more energy and focus to create. This technique is passive and does not require KP.
Utility Technique Name: Flight
Description: Raizan uses his exceptional control over his ki to propel himself through the air. By changing how much energy he releases he can adjust his speed and altitude.
