The Namekian announcer stepped forward onto the arena, waving gladly at the excited crowd as they cheered in excitement for the coming battle. "Welcome everyone, to the first official round of the Trial of Peace! Our previous rounds have been an excellent showcase of the quality of fighters here on Namek," he declared, "And I am sure our next match will be no different." Once the crowd had settled down, he reached into his pocket and pulled out a card with the names of this bout's fighters.
"Our first contestant this round is a native to our own Planet Namek! He is a young one of our kind, but within him is a fierce fighting spirit, and a gentle soul. Everybody, please welcome young Chime to the stage!" The crowd excitedly cheered for the young Namekian, with many of his own race eager among the crowd to see how he fared. "In this match, he shall be fighting the ruthless, feared pirate from Hera, who has slain many a man and stolen many a bounty, some of which took place on this very planet... Regardless, everybody please welcome Captain Salvo!" The crowd still cheered, though it was quite a bit more of a hesitant one than it had been for Chime. The Heran was going to have a hard time winning this audience's approval!
The announcer then took a step back, and addressed the two fighters directly before clearing the arena. "Okay, you two! The winner of this fight will be decided by either knockout or ring-out. If the match has not naturally concluded by the time limit, then our panel of judges will independently determine a winner. The only other rule is that no form of flight may be used in the bout. If I am understood, then... Let the battle begin!"
The first round of the Trial of Peace begins! This fight will end and be judged on Monday, March 27th if a winner has not yet been decided by either ring-out or knockout by then!
