Exiting Sleep ModeThe shuttle touched down with a muffled kerchunk sound as Patch's systems started to reboot. The plan had certainly been less calculated than most plans he preferred to make, but time had been short and the Android was not going to give up a chance to participate in a real tournament. Even if this was the furthest from home he had ever been before.
Getting into the shuttle had been an awkward affair. First he'd had to break into the ship's storage. Far easier said than done. Then he had to disassemble himself piece by piece in order to fit inside and disperse his energy signature enough to avoid being picked up by scanners. Then he quickly realised he was going to be buried under whatever cargo the shuttles owners were piling in on top of him. It was a good thing oxygen was not required or he would have most certainly died in here.
Now though, they had landed. And not on Planet Plant like they had done prior, seemingly out of nowhere. No this, he was sure, was the correct location. Now all he had to do was sneak out without the owner of the shuttle noticing.
His oculars blinked blue as he called his miscellaneous parts back to him. Luggage and various other bits and bobs were knocked around and moved as each of his limbs made and effort to return to him. It was a slow process. Awkward, clunky and certainly louder than he might've wished. The Android could at least hope that whoever owned the shuttle had walked away for the time being.
It took about ten minutes, but eventually the last digit was reattached to his hand and he was whole again. Now just to silently break out and be on his way.
If all had gone to plan he should still be able to bypass the lock like before and...

It seemed the lock had been repaired. Now this is where an organic would panic, but Patch possessed no such emotional weakness. A quick scan of the cargo door and he was able to find a structural weakness. Some carefully applied energy and...

Perhaps a little bit too much carefully applied energy. The door had been blasted completely off its hinges and was now sat a few metres away from the shuttle itself. Patch clambered out and looked around. Maybe if he could still slip away unseen, the shuttle's owner would put it down to a random malfunction.
