Kyten had avoided the cities for the most part, mostly sticking to the many forests and mountains of earth. Partially, this came from a simple preference for the natural world, but his main reason was to not stand out to too many people at once. He'd kept his encounters to small numbers of people so far, limiting the number in case there was a violent reaction. However, none of the people he had encountered reacted particularly aggressively to his presence. Some were defensive around him, but none were immediately violent, and he was fine with people being defensive. It wasn't ideal, but it was a warning that he was doing something they didn't like.
That wasn't something he could do forever, though. If he was to work to defend the people, he would likely need to be seen in public and interact with large numbers of the people, right? That made sense to him. It was better to handle the issue now rather than allow it to become a problem for his future self. So it ended up that Kyten was walking through the streets of South City. Maybe it was simply because not much had happened so far, but exploring the city wasn't nearly as awkward as he thought it'd be. A good number of people giving odd glances and looks as he walked past, but Kyten didn't mind the attention. They weren't hurting him by looking, after all. Honestly, they might not even know if he was a creation or an alien; they probably only noted he wasn't human or alien that they could recognize.
As he walked, he kept his eyes open for someone of importance. Perhaps a police officer, or someone that looked similarly authoritative. Random conversations were something he enjoyed, but there were too many people here to reasonably converse with all of them. It was better to find someone who should know something first if he had the option. Though, he probably wouldn't ignore someone who did try to talk to him. It'd probably be weird not to reply, and they might be able to help him regardless.
