BACKGROUND: After the death of his loved ones and the discovery of his sickness, Nidhogg could not find any solution. Therefore he chose to create himself his own savior in the form of an armor that could provide him support.
This armor was 'stolen' from an ancient civilization that Nidhogg happened to conquer in his youth, and had since taken the recipe to craft one such armor himself only to have forgotten about it until recent times. The Shinjin burned corpses to provide for its energy core, an artificial heart of sorts that could adapt along with its user. Why? If his affliction was to get worse he could not count on himself to either fix it or improve it, therefore the armor is able to grow and repair on its own through magic. For the most part this armor does not exactly 'think'. It hosts an artificial heart and theoretically it does host emotions and thoughts, but they all come from their own user.
It was not created to provide fire or other kinds of weaponry, rather the heat from its core provides power to Nidhogg.

After any action such as a strike or perhaps the moment he sheaths his blade, the opponent is overwhelmed by countless and invisible explosions in the air, cutting away at their enemies.

A memory transferred over from Nidhogg, through his countless battles he has met opponents using this peculiar weapon. Back then he chose to steal said weapon for himself and has made it since then his own. Through the simplest and humblest katana he is able to shatter steel as if it was butter.
Utility Technique || Saiyan Module
YGG.DRASIL's Core was initially fueled by Saiyan and has since then absorbed some of their peculiarities. The armor has no need for upgrades, rather it grows more potent each battle it goes through and responds with grit during a tough battle, further empowering the user.
