She’d only been on Earth for a short time, nothing compared to her time on Plant or Arcose, but already she was falling in LOVE. After meeting with the impromptu group of Earthlings, Zerori felt a bit more confident to try her hand at risking seeing more people. The last time she had tried to put herself out there and learn about Earth from it’s people, she’d learned the hard way that not all Earthlings could be trusted - not even the ones you protected. It had been one of the more painful things she’d experienced and it had brought her back to the difficult lessons Kamae had tried to impart on her before she left Arcose.
Yet here, in the vastness of what she’d come to know as ‘West City’ (an odd name but who’s keeping count?) Zerori was just as fascinated as she was overwhelmed at how busy, advanced and colorful this place was. Kuriza City was a marvel of organization and surface-level peace and the Saiyan Capitol was… well, it spoke for itself just how chaotic it could be. Zerori felt like this city on Earth was a comfortable mix of the two extremes and had already felt an almost child-like wonder overtake the cool demeanor she tried to manage. Ise always seemed to make that shit look easy. Her eye caught sight of the monorail system that hovered overhead of the buildings and she stared in mystified awe before she shook her head, “Holy shit… Humans are pretty innovative! Kinda reminds me of the Tuffles,” She turned to her Mother, though she wasn’t quite in her typical form as she’d needed a bit of rest after using so much power.
Walking beside her, earning MORE than a couple glances, Zriracha sauntered along silently in her four-legged form as she followed along. Telepathically, she responded to Zerori, Indeed! Though, these Humans still lack the refinement in comparison. To see what they had accomplished in a mere few millennia, however? Quite impressive!
As she walked along, ignoring the looks between them, Zerori recalled stories her mother told her, “That’s right, you were here before. Told me not to be here and I did it anyway,” Zerori smugly recalled with a grin and earned a harp bleat from the goat beside her. “So what should we do? Hungry?”
Always.
“Right. Dumb Question. Wait, is this where you and Zuqetta were when I found you last time? ‘Sparkling World’ or something?” Zerori tried to look for that place, a hand over her uncovered eye as she scoured the area.
Yes, but I’d rather not bother with transforming, Daughter. I doubt you could bring me as I am past the gates, either.
Zerori grimaced, looking down at her mother as she felt offended for her, “What, are they Goatist or something?” She looked around with a scowl on her face, an expression of distrust on her face as she seemed to glare accusingly at random people. “Whatever, then. We should-”
“OUTTA THE WAY!”
A sudden bellow of warning had Zerori quickly adopt a stance, her nerves alight with awareness as she reached for her sword at her back. Coming in hot from behind them, the quick approach of a noisy machine alerted Zerori and Zriracha to the speeding Air Bike that had taken to weaving through people haphazardly on the sidewalk and she narrowed her eye on them as didn’t appear to have any intention of weaving around the two of them. In fact, they seemed to think that they were going to jump out of the way.
With a scoff, Zerori had taken one last look at her mother before she returned her gaze to the rider. Goddamn it, why NOW?! She thought with a low growl of annoyance in the back of her throat. The amount of onlookers that were either afraid of someone getting hit or pulling out there phones to record a massive accident were also extremely distracting. At one point, Zerori even heard someone yell 'do a flip!' and that didn't make a LICK of sense to her. Doing her best, Zerori gripped the hilt on her sword on her back. If this guy was really going to try and run her over, she was going to personally make sure he was going to regret it.
"So much for 'keeping myself out of trouble'," Zerori muttered sarcastically as she realized that this was going to bring attention to her AGAIN.
