GENERAL TRAITS:
- Raw Talent: Of which she has in abundance. Although she hardly if ever relies on natural gifts to beat her opponents. I appreciate the edge!
- Trump Card: Magic allows her to bend the rules in ways most fighters would find impossible, eh? I think it's neat.
HOME REGION: Saiba Wastes.
CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
APPEARANCE: Cherry is a tall, lean, somewhat toned Saiyan woman with oddly pointy ears and a flat figure. With her pale skin and long, light brown hair, she has a fairly unassuming and inviting appearance—one that contrasts dramatically with the typical warrior-face and spiky hair that most Saiyans possess. If not for her long, prehensile tail, it'd be easy to mistake her for a human, or even a tall Tuffle. Her sense of fashion is pretty basic, and her standard equipment is mostly plain armor with some garments stuffed around it.

{Vegeta - Click Me!}
Age 991. Planet Plant.
Battle. That's all the universe seemed to have in mind for the Saiyans. How else could one explain their existence? They were always fighting something—for the past decade or so, it'd been the Tuffles, and for the last half a century it was their own damn planet. In a way, Inach found it...comforting. Always having something to kill made life easy. It was the perfect distraction, something that kept the young who knew no better loyal, and the older, wiser ones dead. Saiyans weren't supposed to live long enough to want more from the universe.
But Inach did.
After Sadala had been reduced to a barren wasteland, he—alongside thousands, if not millions of his brothers and sisters—wanted nothing more than a return to their glorious past. A reclamation of what was lost. A home. To this end, he'd sacrificed everything towards the Saiyan-Tuffle war. Twenty-one years of his life, spent entirely in battle. The entirety of his arm, lost to a Destron attack. His wife, who had died for nothing, fighting to protect a city that they'd lose in a month...
At the end of the day, Inach still wanted the same thing: a place to call home. But with every passing sacrifice, with each terrible day, he came closer and closer to the conclusion that the place he was searching for, the home his daughter deserved, couldn't be farther away from his people, nor his war, nor Planet Plant. Battle was all the Saiyans had for him—so one day, he decided to leave the Saiyans, child in tow.
As the old warrior blasted away from Planet Plant forever, he couldn't help but cry a little, no matter how un-saiyanlike. For all the pain his people brought him, a part of it still felt like home.

Cherry had a rather interesting childhood on Earth.
She spent quite a bit of her life as a weird outcast, courtesy of the strange tail attached to her and her dads' butt that he never seemed to explain—but that didn't stop her from being a shockingly friendly and gentle little fiend. Inach had exactly zero of the prerequisites needed to raise a child, much less by himself, but he just managed to get by: in a way, this made the two of them even closer, stumbling through life on earth just as confused as the other.
Though Inach had escaped Planet Plant due to the standards of his people, he was still a Saiyan at heart; this lead to many arguments between him and his daughter, who had no idea that her hair should be spiky and black, or that she should hunt for every other piece of meat, or that she should really stay away from full moons (eventually she wisened up enough to wear sunglasses on those days). However, one thing that they seemed to always agree on no matter what was martial arts!
Inach found the many fighting styles Earthlings possessed fascinating, putting his daughter to the task of teaching him some of the stranger ones, like Ki Sensing. Inach, meanwhile, never had to worry about going too hard on her dad; he'd parry every hit with one hand while reading a magazine. On a deeper level, while the two of them were both furiously passionate about combat, both Saiyans had developed a strong distaste for violence and unnecessary conflict. Hanging around humans all day in particular made Cherry even softer: alongside her training, she developed a rather kindred spirit of her own, one that would've been impossible on the rocky wastes of Vegeta, but was perfectly common on Earth. It was different, it was strange, it was perfect...
At least, until she started getting smart.
Inach thought it wise to hide everything and anything about their origins from his daughter, but he lacked the knowledge or the powers to support his lies for long. Despite their strong bonds, Cherry became further and further distant from her father, questioning more and more of her strength, and tail, and background. She'd ran into plenty of aliens on her time on Earth, and half of them knew her tail better than she did. And the things they spoke of—they were positively unspeakable. And what did that make her dad? What did that make her? What did that make Earth?
Eighteen years after Inach had originally landed on Earth, Cherry would finally get the answer to these questions. Who he was, who she was, how they'd gotten here. All the things she'd spent half of her life looking for. With the truth now in her grasp, did it give her any comfort? Or was there mainly pain in knowing where she'd started? Did she hate her father? Or did their old wounds finally start to heal?

Age 1022. Earth.
Cherry can still fondly remember the day she'd learnt the truth, three years ago. At the time, she just hysterical about it all—it was too much information for anyone to take, and she just...left. All that confusion and pain and sadness for a planet and a mom she never knew...those were crazy times. Looking back on that moment with hindsight, though, she realized that what she'd really gained from that talk was clarity and purpose.
From that moment henceforth, Cherry had only one goal in mind: returning to Planet Plant. To this end, she started to travel the world, learning about the mystic arts as an alternative to mere ki control. Inach knew her too well to expect differently, and didn't even try to protest, only trying to support his daughter as much as he could. He let her know that he never wanted to come back, and that if she stayed there, they would likely never see each other again.
Of course, she believed otherwise. In spite of all the terrible things the Saiyans had done, Cherry believed that change was perfectly possible. Her father was living proof of this: even after half a century of fighting for the cause, here he was, hanging out amicably with Earthlings and disliking war! He'd given up everything just to make her life a little better...and for that, she was eternally grateful.
Alas, even with all of the friends she'd encountered, the fighting she'd learnt, the father she had...a part of her had always wanted to come elsewhere, searching the stars for familiarity. If everything she'd been told about Planet Plant was even half-true, it'd be a place she'd hate with a passion.
But she didn't plan on running away and hoping for a better life. Cherry was going to land on Vegeta, stop the battles, end the war! She was gonna make it a place her dad wouldn't be able to stay away from! She was gonna find her home.
And as for what comes next...that's the interesting part.
COMBAT INFORMATION
Though Cherry is far from being a world-class martial artist or galaxy-renown combatant, she capable of a lot more than her pacifistic persona would suggest. Underestimate her, and you'll get socked in the jaw!
Light Defense || Aura ShieldADDITIONAL NOTES: I'd like for her first transformation to be named 'Inner Oozaru'. Her faceclaim is Luozhu from The Legend of Hei.
One of her oldest, yet most reliable techniques. She can 'project' her inner spirit forward as a glowing, blue version of herself to try and block some attacks!
Power: 60%
KP Cost: 2 KP
Variants: Evasive (2 TP), Power Upgrade (1 TP).
Medium Attack|| Wicked Blow
Cherry dashes towards the opponent and tries to land a rather decisive hit. From a glance, it seems like just a big punch—however, the Saiyan is actually aiming for specific weak points, chinks in their armor, stuff like that! If successful, they start to suffer from internal damage.
Power: 50%
KP Cost: 4 KP
Variants: Bleed (2 TP), 2 Power Upgrades (2 TP).
Heavy Defense|| Dissipate
Using some combination of Ki Control and Magic, Cherry attempts to dramatically weaken any attack (or attacks?) that's thrown her way. Even if she can't totally block the incoming strike or projectile, it usually gets weakened significantly anyways. For ranged attacks she does this from afar: for melee attacks she usually has to grab the attacker somehow (or the weapon).
Power: 50%
KP Cost: 4 KP
Variants: -2 KP Reduction (3 TP), Shield (2 TP).
Light Attack Sparking||ULTIMA ARCANA!
Cherry takes a moment to pause, then begins to gather magical energy in a manner no other technique demands. Once she's gathered up enough mana (and will), Cherry summons a weapon right into her palm—except instead of bronze of steel, it's composed of pure magic! Though it burns out quickly, it is surprisingly good at burning through defensive techniques: pure magic is hard to stop.
Power: 30%
Cost: 2 KP, 3 MP.
Variants: Preparation (Sparking Variant, 2 TP), Piercing (2 TP), 2 Power Upgrades (2 TP).
Utility Technique || "I can fly! Cool huh?" (Flight)
What it says on the tin—Cherry can move through the air like a fish in water. Whether this is done with Ki or Magic is decided by her mood.
Utility Technique || Life Force Sensing (Ki Sensing)
Another simple yet incredibly useful ability. She can detect the ki, magic or any such 'energy' off (most) living beings, and can even gauge their power based off it. Easy to fool, but useful otherwise.
Utility Technique || "Sorcerer Supreme, am I right? Haha!" (Magic Materialization)
Cherry's bread and butter would be her impressive-ish talent for the arcane, one that allows her to do extremely cool stuff like creating hamburgers from nothing and...creating hotdogs from nothing. Okay, not the greatest thing ever, but it does prove useful for some techniques!
