It was bright, it was sunny, and most importantly it was noon. A sigh escaped the lips of Sophia, her foot tapping as she looked over her phone. She'd called her father four times now, and preparing for a fifth attempt. She stood before a dealership of some sort, offering varying spacecraft of different sizes and makes. The one having caught her eye being a rather luxurious looking Royal Starship it had all the amenities. Several bed rooms, a bathroom, and most importantly a fully furnished Kitchen. She could live the luxurious life even while traveling in style. The very thought of it made her giddy. The orange haired woman finally got a hold of her father on the phone, speaking up as he answered.
"Hello, Father." She said, rather curtly. "I would like you to wire me some Zeni, I've found something I wish to purchase." She said. She frowned some as she listened to his words, a hum escaping her lips. "No it is not something frivolous. If you must know it is a vehicle. If it were something small I'd have purchased it myself." There was silence from her for a few moments, listening intently to her fathers words. A groan escaped her. "Yes yes. I understand. You aren't made of money." In truth, he was. Being an Heiress to a fortune made life easier in some respects, and more difficult in others.
Finally she spoke up again. "I know I can fly." She whispered. "But this will let me get around without standing out. I promise." There was another bout of silence before she smiled. "Thank you. I hope you have a nice day." With that she ended the call, setting it away in a pocket before looking back up to the ship. She beamed at it. It would be hers no matter what! She shut her eyes, just imagining all the adventures she'd have with it. All the fun that could be had when a vehicle such as it was in use. All the joy riding she and her friends could-...
She frowned. Right, she didn't have any friends. At least none that would be interested in such activities. A soft huff escaped her lips at the very thought. She'd just have to make new friends it seemed. Better friends that were cool, and not bookworms. Friends who could help her better herself in ways that others could not. Then again...
She narrowed her eyes. "I could always flaunt it, and see if it attracts attention..." She said with a smile.
