CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
APPEARANCE: Helio is long and slender, coming in at around 180 centimeters tall, while only weighing roughly 70 kilos. For most of his life he had neglected the physical training of his peers, choosing to instead focus on magic. He has red, spikey hair as well as green eyes, and his clothes are that of traditional Konatsian design.
BACKGROUND: Helio was born in the city of Dharatan, though he did not live there for most of his life. Only moments after being born Helio would be abducted from the hospital by an unknown figure, taking the child into the deeper recesses of the S'tarche Coast, where he would never be seen again... at least not by his parents. This figure, who's name the child would never learn, only had partially nefarious intentions as he saw the boy as his heir.
The figure, who insisted the boy call him master and nothing else, would raise Helio into a mage the likes of which would make any sorcerer proud. All day and night the two would study incarnations which were forbidden by other Konatsian magical sects, though out in the wilderness they were none the wiser. Things were mostly fine for Helio, though a little boring. That was until a great Demon decided to attack the city of Dharatan.
The Master had the same ideas, wanting to involve himself in the machinations of this demon, even if the magic was far beyond him. The two quickly made the trek to Dharatan, and upon witnessing void magic on display the Master would take possession of an old and lost, powerful weapon named the Fragarach, and attempted to harness it's powerful for himself. Of course the magic would utterly overwhelm him, vaporizing the old Konatsian in an near instant.
Helio, unsure of what to do, quickly grabbed a hold of his master's prized blade and prepared for the worst as the void soon overtook him. Somehow, someway the boy survived. Perhaps the old man had cast some sort of protective spell on Helio moments before his own death, or maybe it was only blind luck; in whatever case Helio lived, though not without his own scars. The powerful void implanted it's own presence within Helio, creating a second personality that was very, very hungry...
Helio found himself quickly overpowered by this new dark force, who shuttled his vessel into a pod and set course for a planet full of life.
