Striker did still kinda want to punch Fukushu a few times in the face for last time, but she would be a bit petty to let those feelings take hold over opportunities. She'd lock it away, for later use, when she didn't need to worry about making it big or earning favor among those high and mighty. The other creature among them started prattling about the importance of that stain on Konats though, something which was above Striker's realm of knowledge but equally made her a bit upset. She knows she'd be upset if that was her city with a big icky scar over it. Dharatan was one step removed.
"I'm not going to pretend like I understand any of that magic or demon nonsense. And I may just be here out of curiosity and a bit of cash... BUT, I'd appreciate it if you didn't go around encouraging any numbskull with an agenda to keep that blight anywhere near our home. Kay? Thanks, appreciate it!"
She shouted back up at the demon before gritting her teeth and popping her knuckles on each hand. She wasn't about to sell out cities full of people at the behest of random strangers knocking on their door. The moment either of these two threatened Konats well being was the moment she flipped the script. She'd make sure of that promise. As for what Fukushu promised and wanted, she'd look back at him and nod.
"Well, I can put up a good fight too. Doubt anything there could tango with me. The people back home paid top dollar to have me run security for them, so you bet I can put out the money's worth."
Hell, the news of her helping clean the mess up could be the one boost she needed herself. It wouldn't just be Fukushu reaping notoriety from this job.
