The run through the city's remains caused the blonde Konatsian to grit her teeth, partially in frustration at what had transpired, but also to keep her head focused on the here and now of their situation. Every single building they passed, she could still get glimpses of what they had once been here and there.
The tilt of an archway here, the decor of a crenelation there, and a myriad of other tiny fragments of fragments. Each and every single step through this aberration of twisted reality sought to strip away the memories Cambia had of the city, and replace it with its current state... And it was a struggle to hold fast against the siege.
But the sight of the ocean as it came into view... It cleaved apart the nightmare that now stood behind them, like dandelion seeds blowing away on the wind. She closed her eyes and took in a slow deep breath of the air, for not even the twisted vista could remove the scent of the fresh and saltwaters before them.
Sadly or perhaps gratefully, it's hard to tell, Gandigan interrupted Cambia's moment of reverie by asking what the next course of action was to be. She kept her eyes closed, her mind searching through the memories, her ears listening to the lapping of the waves and the distant breeze. After a moment of recalling, the blonde Konatsian opened her eyes and nodded towards the right hand side of the docks.
"Assuming it's still afloat, there should still be the family yacht docked in the ports hanger..." she said softly, recalling something else from todays events. "But you two can fly, so from here you should be able to swiftly escape..." Cambia mused, sounding rather apologetic about the whole affair. These two warriors could very easily have made their escape already from this hellscape, and she felt responsible for them still being here since she could not... She was only holding them up and slowing them down in all honesty...
