What!? Did she owe this jerk or something? The way he talked about her made it seem like she was owing him a favor, like people are expected to help just anyone with a sour attitude. At least her own berating seemed to stop him from stooping down. But it didn't really seem to change how he spoke. Unlike most creatures this heavily offended, Striker wasn't a fan of fighting for retribution. She liked fighting for fun, or for money. Neither of which she was getting out of this if she started something.
"How'd I feel? I feel like I wouldn't be a jerk and assume things of people I'd want 'help' from. I told you nicely what I knew off the top of my head about these Kashvar and you called me an animal. And now you're calling me this 'Kashvar creation' thing when I already told you what and who I am. No, I'm not obligated to help lame-os with their lame problems! Forget it!"
Striker threw both hands out in a dismissive wave and turned away from him, crossing her arms in a 'humph!'. She had been so focused on trying to defend herself that she almost completely got caught off by whatever the heck this Tuffle was talking about and doing. Man, she thought she was weird. And then it occurred to her that maybe all Tuffles were like, created like that. Bael didn't give off that impression... Buuuuuut-
"You're a test tube baby? Huh. Are... All Tuffles born like that? Sorry, don't know a lot about that planet you guys come from. I only met the other Tuffle I know like a week ago. Sounds super science-y."
She paused, tapping her foot rapidly against the ground and looking down in thought. Man, what a day to find these two randos. She clears her throat to break up the two talking and get Apexle's attention shortly after her first inquiry. She never seemed to catch a second wind of snark once the air was taken out of her sails by Gandigan.
"And, sorry for bumping into you Apexle. I know I was being a little mean about it earlier but I was just playing. If you needed anything, I could maybe help. Day's already a little down as is."
