Moire had already been to many villages already, each one containing little to satiate her appetite, either when it comes to quantity or quality, especially to the point where she wouldn't raise suspicion. Taola Village is just another village where it seems like the lone majin will walk through and pass with little regard for who she may be, despite all of the strangers walking up in an attempt to say hello to her. This is also accompanied by the odd side-eye every now and then given her appearance, but otherwise the rest of the villagers kept to themselves and went about their day. Perhaps someday when she's more than capable of taking on all who stand in her way, she'll make her return...
It all falls back to her sealed power. She knows that she was far more capable back on the Land of the Kais than she is currently. Moire had been working tirelessly to unlock her potential once more, and though she has made some progress, she still lags behind. She needed to find new targets, targets that can provide what she truly needs, whether that would be either assistance or sapped power. Try as she might, she couldn't get ahold of Sesame, and she knows she would need more than him, Qarinah, Megis, and the few others she has already allied herself with in. She needed to figure out what is next for her.
That is when the majin began to overhear whispers amongst the people, whispers that, strangely enough, didn't refer to her. Rather, they were whispering about someone who had been here for a day or so, a strange looking man who kept to himself and how strange things began to happen ever since his arrival. They claim that animals, both farm animals and pets alike, have been incredibly anxious and how there have even been a handful of disappearances, each one leaving no trace whatsoever. Moire couldn't help but be intrigued at what these people had to say about such a stranger, and so she shall keep an ear out for more information in regards to this rather mysterious individual.
