GENERAL INFORMATION
NAME: Marshall Law
ALIASES: Chief Law
AGE: 65
GENDER: Male
SPECIES: Terran
TRAITS -
>> FULL SAUCE: Your bulking no longer drains momentum, but you still can't gain momentum. In addition, you start with the "Max Power" Support Technique for free.
>> HARDY: The total damage you can sustain is increased by 30%. Critical Damage will still defeat you at its normal rate.
>> FAVORABLE CONTRACTS: You gain Zeni twice as fast with a ZPW of 1 instead of 0.5.
GENERAL TRAITS -
>> ANTISENSE: Your ki is invisible to energy sensing and scouters, even in the midst of combat - this can be toggled on and off. In addition, escape techniques have a boost of +20% to their total effectiveness and your first escape technique per thread costs no KP.
>> BARE KNUCKLE BRAWLER: You don't need help from modern distractions! If you enter a thread with no combat* items or consumables, you may boost a defensive technique by +30% once per thread! This bonus is lost if you receive or use an item mid-thread and cannot apply to Sparking techniques.
STARTING PLANET: Earth
HOME REGION: Rocky North
CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
APPEARANCE: Marshall is an absolute unit; He stands slightly over seven feet tall and sports a broad heavyset frame with noticeable musculature. As a Terran, he looks almost like any average human, save the piercing, fiery orange eyes. His hair is naturally white (though it does suit his age) and is typically stylized in a faded combover complemented by facial scruff. || TEMPORARY(?) FC is Drayden, image taken from Pokemon Generations
BACKGROUND: Terrans are taught that strength is the ultimate merit. The species is a near dead-ringer for the humans of Earth - some speculate that Terra was a human colony in a bygone era, others say the Shinjin were simply lazy - whatever the case for their existence, Terrans take pride in NOT being humanity. While the bulk of Earthlings are weak, technologically regressive, and too concerned with luxury and pleasure, Terrans are known for their power. In that regard, they are much like Saiyans, Herans, or any other dime-a-dozen warrior race that spans the stars.
Marshall was the only child of Strkyt Law and Celia Fate. The former worked as a S.W.A.T. equivalent in law enforcement, while the latter was a well-respected scientist and engineer. The union was cordial and, for Terra, held a great deal of love between them. Ultimately it was still a match for the sake of eugenics. Their child was reared in a nigh draconian household, instructed in the ways of Ki use AND advanced sciences from as young an age as possible. Marshall enlisted in the Operator Division at the age of twenty - a branch of law enforcement that involved direct fieldwork and technological upkeep and development.
He was never happy. Happiness was a foreign concept to most Terrans; their society was built around turning people into efficient and productive drones. And yet one day, out of nothing more than compulsion, Marshall quietly commandeered a spaceship and left his home behind. Unsure of what he was doing - or what he even wanted, the Terran set course for his species' colloquial punching bag planet: Earth. As it turns out, getting access to citizenship when you looked much the part of any human martial artist was easy. What was supposed to be a pitstop of self-discovery turned into something more. Earthlings had concepts he'd never dreamed of: friendships, love, entertainment, a purpose being productivity and power.
He grew a strong attachment to the Western Wilds; It was a hardy frontier with hardier folk and a strong sense of community. Marshall initially made ends meet by working as a contracted mechanic and agricultural helping hand, using his jobs as another chance to better explore this new world. By the age of twenty-one, Marshall officially called Earth his home. By twenty-four, he had gained an accent and expressed an interest in military service. Combat was an old friend, and with the Terran's natural might, it was an easy in. Halfway into two decades of service, he met the woman who would become his wife - Justine Thyme. After a distinguished career, he was honorably discharged and settled down with Justine. Their first (and only) child, Maxis, was born two years later.
Wanting to experience urban life on Earth and desiring a bright future for this new child, the family moved to Central City, where Marshall took up a job at the police precinct. Sixteen years passed, and after ANOTHER decorated career with the police - Marshall having turned down the ultimate offer of Superintendent to remain as Chief of Staff & Logistics - he was finally ready to relax and help his daughter in her remaining years before college.
Though as the world moved on, disaster struck. Battle powers across the galaxy spiked, chaos came to Earth and beyond, and Marshall was finding it increasingly hard to stay out of the fight despite his comparatively weak level. After the East City incident, Marshall willingly came out of retirement to take the position of Chief of Police in Central City, additionally being tasked as the liaison between the government and the technically non-government Planetary Crisis Response organization and their sub-branch Task Force Shield.

LIGHT OFFENSIVE || BURNING KNUCKLE
Marshall launches an empowered punch, blazing with blue fiery Ki.
Power: 20%
KP Cost: 1 KP
Variants: N/A
LIGHT OFFENSIVE || POWER WAVE
Marshall strikes the air, causing it to resonate with latent Ki and seemingly ignite in a trailing blaze.
Power: 40%
KP Cost: 2 KP
Variants: N/A
LIGHT DEFENSIVE || KI SHELL
A simple dome-shaped protective barrier.
Power: 40%
KP Cost: 2 KP
Variants: N/A
MEDIUM OFFENSIVE SPARKING || ERUPTION
An upscaled Power Wave that looses a devastating geyser of energy.
Power: 110%
KP Cost: 4 KP
Variants: N/A
SUPPORT || QUAD MULTIFORM [10,000]
You split into four copies, dividing your power evenly between yourself and a single copy (25% each). Multiforms operate as their own fighters- they manage KP, MP, and use techniques as if they were two separate people! They can merge back together after responding defensively to any attacks your foe may have thrown, but take the damage from the most damaged copy and take KP and MP from the copies with the least in each stat. One-use techniques, items, or traits can only be used once per thread regardless of which copy uses the technique.
SUPPORT || MAX POWER [FREE]
You may activate Max Power at the very start of your post, increasing the power of all of your techniques by +10% while active. This will drain Momentum at a cost of -1 MP per post and prevents you from gaining MP naturally, using evasive or escape techs, blocking escapes, and intercepting attacks meant for others. You can only turn it off at the end of a post, at the end your second post after activation at the earliest. You will still consume MP and not regain any MP on the post you turned it off on. If you run out of MP, you lose Max Power's effects at the end of your post and cannot gain any MP on your next turn.
Utility Technique || Energy Sensing
Marshall has learned to sense the energy of beings around him.
Utility Technique || Aero-Step
With small bursts of energy, Marshall can "kick" off of air itself to propel himself. While useful for movement it makes hovering - like traditional flight - quite tedious.
