Yurei had spent his time on the run and while on the run he had been shot and injured by a saiyan soldier just before escaping his grasp. He found his way through the cave system. There were many caves around this region, whether it was used for deep operations by the military, or just by living arrangements. Whatever the case was, Yurei was down for the count and held his stomach as he found his way inside the cave. His pink visor scouter that he had stolen from a prison convoy had the frequency already on and they were speaking about the whereabouts of escaped criminals, one of them being Yurei. The escape was indeed drastic, but living his life in the slums of the Capital, he was use to living like garbage. As he found his way deeper inside the cave, he had started a fire on a few sticks left by someone else and grabbed one of the sticks with a flame and pressed it against his wound. He held his screams internally like a soldier would as his cheeks were flatted like balloons from cheek to cheek. He had finally felt relaxed and calmly laid down against the wall. The grime on his fingernails and the sweat dripping. He held onto his stolen blaster pistol that he had taken from a prison guard and hope that he was safe in here...
Thread PL: 5,000 | Antisense: Active Pursla hardly ever took the time to scavenge around the ruined cities that dotted the wastes. They were filled with Destron, bandits, saiba beasts, and untold traps around every corner. Her recent issues with having to flee her old home and then the mix up during her supply raid had left Pursla more destitute than usual, however, and getting something shiny or useful from an old city would be a surefire way to quickly gain back whatever meager possessions she had lost. That had been the original plan, at least, before Pursla had fallen through a series of unfortunate slopped holes all the way into a network of tunnels and caves. The fall hadn't hurt but she didn't really have an easy way up given her lack of flight, and this area was entirely unfamiliar to her. She had ate and drank before departing, so food and water was not an immediate concern, but it could turn into one depending on how long Pursla remained lost down here. Perhaps this could even turn into a bit of a fun expedition! A new part of the wastes that she wasn't familiar with quite yet would be an excellent place to explore.

Before he could get some rest, he had heard some noise down within the caves. He couldn't sense anything down the direction but he couldn't risk being ambushed. He had risen himself to his feet and held his gun forward and with his free hand he held his stomach wound and kept moving forward. He had panted, sweat began to drip from his body. As he made his way through the smelly cave that smelled like old sewage and dust, his body had finally given up on him and he had collapsed to the ground. It was worst than he had thought, his wound wasn't as simple as he had first thought it was.
"Am I really... going to die in a place like..."
He had made his crawl, inch by inch, he was exhausted from running away from the authorities. He had collapsed on his face and closed his eyes.
Pursla licked some moss. It was nutritious. And also happened to be great for natural remedies when it came to cuts or gashes, acting as a disinfectant in place of regular medicine - so she was sure to grab a reasonable amount to stuff into her worn-thin pockets. The scenery of the caverns had been rather cool so far, and she had found a supply of clean water to drink and had all the mosses and lichen in the world to sustain off of. It wasn't the most luxurious meal but it'd keep her alive while she explored. Further along one tunnel her sensing perked up, the vague feeling a fading power signature at the forefront of her mind as she increased her pace a bit. How likely was it that another person had stumbled upon this very set of caves and decided to come in? Perhaps they even knew the way out! Though the pep in her step halted when the signature belonged to a dying blue-skkined oddly dressed man of some kind. Curious she knelt, gently trying to roll him over to survey what the issue was. IF permitted to continue, Pursla would wish out her stored glow moss before crushing it to a paste-like consistency with a nearby rock, moving to spread it over the man's wound in an attempt to soothe it.
Yurei's eyes was currently in a blur. One second he was dying, the next he was saved. Who would save a criminal who broke the law. As he opened his eyes and felt the soothing motion on his wound, it reacted like a senzu bean but with a slow timer on that would eventually heal him over the course. He had seen two images before him of the same person. A woman.... he had thought in his own mind. As the double vision and blur finally subsided, it became one image.
"Is this the afterlife... hehe, I can't complain though...."
He was lost in the woman's eyes for a moment. He didn't realize that she had saved his life. He started to recall his location quickly as he smelled the environment. Yup, it still smelled nasty just like he had remembered. He quickly rose up and looked around. He looked to his wound as it was slowly closing. He started to look around some more and realized that he was still in the cave and to make matters worst he could barely move. He looked to his savior.
"You saved my life... why..."
She looked to be a saiyan, so this only added more questions.
"Why would you help a Citrujin.."
His time in jail along with the way saiyans had treated him both inside and outside the walls. He was use to being treated like second class citizens. He looked down in sorrow for a second, trying to comprehend it all. On top of that, he couldn't sense this woman's ki energy. However this wasn't no ordinary cave, it was considered one of the most dangerous caves if one were to call this their home. He detected another organic beings within range and coming from the shadows his eyes had perked up and all he could do was think about the person who had saved his life. He immediately attempted to push her away as the giant snake came straight for him from behind and he used his body to obscure the snake's vision to focus mainly on him. The bite mark and grapple he had received from the snake was more than enough to cause Yurei to grunt in pain.
"This bastard better not have venom!"
Yurei yelled in anger as he rose to his feet and immediately suplex the snake and quickly blasted it away to the shadows once again with a strong beam attack. He panted in disbelief and held onto the nearby wall for support.
"Are you okay? What are you doing down here in a place like this?"
"You not dead, no," Pursla replied, missing the context beneath the question entirely. She met his stare with one of curiosity, unsure of what to make of the stranger. He started to move a bit more, eliciting a frown. "You should move little. The moss will heal the surface but not beneath. Your injury will hurt for a while longer." Though that was shelved in favor of the man asking her why exactly she saved him. Mentioning his species gave her a small moment's hesitation, but Pursla pushed through it. "You needed help," She said plainly. "No matter what you are. The Saibas come for help sometimes, too." Her mother had been a Citrujin too, though very different in color compared to the man before her. It was where she likely inherited her fur and skintone from, though Pursla wouldn't know given that her mother had been absent ever since she was born.
A smaller energy signature blipped into existence from behind her, Pursla turning and prepared to unleash her claws if need be, but the Citrujin acted much more hastily. Unprepared for his sudden movement, Pursla was pushed aside as the snake landed a bite on him. The hybrid grunted, clambering back upright just in time to see it get launched. "Only the small snakes have venom," She supplied helpfully. "The bigger ones hunt by wrapping prey or biting. Though you may need more moss to prevent getting sick from the open wound." Though again questions were given to her. "I live in the area, though these caves are new. I'm not quite sure where I am in them exactly."
Yurei had casually looked around, she had spoken about the Saibas and he only had heard of the Saibamen creatures and how they are dangerous in nature. Was she speaking about those gremlins or something else entirely. He had heard the prison stories of escapees that had headed towards that region in other to escape the law. Though nine times out of ten, they were ambushed and cornered by the beast and killed off. Yurei didn't want to assume so he casually continued on the conversation.
"You seem to know the wilderness better than most. Show me the path that lead you here."
Yurei had for now, looked around cautiously, he didn't want to get jumped again. As he used his left hand to form a ki ball to shed some light around this cave, he occasionally looked back at the girl.
"You know if we get out of here, I can get you better clothes."
Though he wasn't exactly the one that had any funds, he would acquire them through stealing. After being saved by her, he owed her more than just clothes.
"I will protect you, don't you worry about that my dear."
"I fell through a big hole," Pursla explained casually. "It got some dirt on me but other than that, nothing hurt. I'd normally try to jump out but the stones are slippery and I can't get a good hold on them." Her brow furrowed in thought for a moment before she spoke again: "Why do we not go out where you came in? Is there something dangerous?" That was the most logical explanation, given Pursla had no way of recognizing prison stripes as prison stripes. "My form is very powerful, so if the hole does not work out I can try and fight whatever beast has us trapped." She turned to lead the Citrujin back from whence she came, walking at a brisk speed through the ominous caverns without too much of a care. He had mentioned something about clothing at one point, prompting her to look down.
"Perhaps. Yet I do live in the wilds. Clothes not like what I already wear would break and tear easy." Was this his way of repaying what she did? Pursla thought it to be common courtesy even among wild animals, though with Saiyans about she supposed that wouldn't be the case. They were more likely to prolong suffering for the sport of it. "Protection?" It sounded odd to hear almost. "The offer is nice, but I can protect self fine. That is how I lived for so many years out here."
Yurei had followed her direction, as she mentioned why not go back to where he had came. He looked at her as they walked towards her direction. The main reason he didn't want to go the other way was due to worrying about if any saiyan soldiers were going to be coming from that direction.
"Well, I want to explore this cave while i'm here. Plus if you tried climbing out, then maybe you can't fly like I can."
Then he had his hand to his chin just thinking. Or maybe the spaces were tight that only her body could squeeze through. Nevertheless he stuck with his answer.
"It was only a mere suggestion, you look strong enough to take care of yourself."
He smiled with joy and just ahead of them would glow red eyes. He began to squint his eyes to get a better picture. He clicked the scouter and of course it wasn't working when he needed it to the most. Twin giant snakes had shown up, conjoined together and only separated by their one tail just barley. The snake on the left tried to bite down on Yurei and his hands went forward to try to hold the snakes mouth open from trying to bite him. He felt the strength of this snake being different from the previous one.
"Looks like this one isn't like the last one huh."
"You can fly?" Pursla said, curiosity peaked. Flight was a technique that Pursla was just unable to nail down properly. It wasn't strictly necessary and in fact would often give her way far easier than her regular mode of stealthy slinking across the jungle, but it was still something she was enamored with. "Perhaps explaining how you do that can be a good way to help me in return," The girl suggested, tail swishing back and forth in excitement. "I have always wanted to fly too. It looks very fun!" Though its main use was mobility and for combat, soaring through the sky high above the dangerous ground without a care... now that was attractive, the very essence of freedom. The mood had lightened considerably... right up until a sudden surge of power revealed a twin-headed serpent waiting for them. Yurei was attacked first, barely able to hold off the snapping jaws of the first head while the second moved to bite at her too, Pursla deftly rolling under the mouth and extending her Ki claws to swipe at the head Yurei was struggling against. With any luck it'd strike true and cause the head to release her newfound friend from its' grasp.

She had seemed excited about learning to fly and that's when he had placed his hands on his hips with joy.
"Hehe, perhaps I can treat you to some fine lunching is what the wealthy call it. Sure will teach you how to fly. I am an expert at it!"
He was sure he had gotten the phrase right or was it breakfast? or dining? He kept his hand to his chin still thinking about it. The scenario had moved on and now Yurei was struggling with the snake before him. Its jaw was soaked in wetness and its saliva was damn near close to his beautiful face! Before the snake could chomp down on his face, the girl had impressed him and struck the snakes head! He had eeked like a scared child and touched his face trying to feel for any potential wounds on his face.
"Thank the kami's that my face is still intact. I can't get injuries on this beautiful face of mine!"
He looked to the snake in anger now.
"NO ONE THREATENS ME WITH A BAD TIME!"
Yurei flew straight at the other head of the snake. The snake was already aggressive and attempting to bite him left and right as he evaded. With a quick motion of his hands, he pulled out his taser and shot the snake straight. The electricity coming from it had struck the snake so quick that its body began to light up like christmas. Finally, the snake had collapsed to the ground and seemed to have been stunned by the whole ordeal. Yurei had collapsed to the ground slightly panting to himself.
"Look at that, I took down the big o'l nasty snake!"
He stood up in excitement and had his hands to his hips.
"I will protect you m'aa lady!"
a giant boulder had fallen behind him due to the snake collapsing. Luckily it had missed and he had turned tail and stood right behind the woman in fear for a split second. He tried acting cool and calm as he sniffed the air.
"Did you see how fast I dodged that rock! I am really quick and mysterious!"
"'Fine lunching'," Pursla echoed, shaking her head. "Some people have such weird terms for things. At least to me. I am sure that such words are not weird to you." Though afterward the two had been assaulted by the snake, and had little time to continue such a conversation.
Her swipe had hit its mark, and the beast reared back from trying to chomp down on Yurei, allowing the Citrujin some breathing room. Oddly he took a moment to assess his face in particular, though Pursla would be more worried about torso puncture wounds than superficial ones. Pursla was busy trying to fend off the creature while Yurei flew up in an enraged vigor, pulling out some kind of technology weapon and blasting it with electricity. Shielding her eyes from bright blue glow, Pursla blinked a few times at the display. "That is a very powerful pocket machine you have," She noted, touching the monster cautiously to ensure it was truly not a threat anymore. Pursla noticed a few pebbles raining down from above amidst the Citrujin's boasting, ready to snatch him out of the way as a boulder from above, Yurei noticing himself just in time and dodging it. "You also seem to be very lucky." Pursla said aloud.
Yurei had calmly rubbed the back of his head as he closed his eyes.
As he continued to walk ahead towards the direction, he had looked up at an opening just above and had figured that this was the location that she was talking about.
"I'm assuming that this is where you came from?"
If it was, he would promptly grab her by the hand lightly if she allowed it and begin to slightly fly into the air. He would proceed to find any opening of sorts and calmly make his way through the section and avoiding the rocks. Finally, the light began to shine on his face and as he made it to the surface he let her hand go and looked at her with a smile.
"There we go, we got out just fine huh?"
About that time, saiyan soldier police had arrived on scene, aiming their guns directly at Yurei. Without wasting another second, the officers from the back had released their tasers and began to tase him to the point where he had collapsed to the ground. The lead officer in charge had approach the girl.
"Everything is going to be alright, we got the wanted fugitive. He's going back to the Capital for his execution."
Yurei was brought to his feet and cuffed and shackled with anti ki cuffs. The officer in charged look at him.
"You really thought you could break free from the law huh."
He spat on Yurei face.
"You Citrujin make me sick. Worst than the tuffles. Get him the fuck out of here."
Yurei being escorted by two soldiers to a prison patrol car.
"Yes, indeed. It was my falling hole," It was large enough for two to fit through, though the slopped slick stone would prove impossible to climb normally. "You can fly... but can you carry another person during it?" Pursla didn't exactly think she was that heavy by any means, though perhaps an over seven-foot musclebound hybrid Saiyan would be a bit heavy for people to try and hoist. Though that thought was dashed as she felt an invisible force begin to lift her as Yurei grabbed her hand, Pursla looking around in marvel. And this was just secondhand flight! By the time they reached the surface, Pursla let go and gave him a small laugh. "Yes, that was very fun. I hope to fly soon myself." Though once again the moment was interrupted by the surge of power nearby, many many Saiyans suddenly appearing to attack Yurei. Pursla jolted, taken aback by the hostility.
"Fugitive? Capital? Execution?" Pursla didn't fully understand the gravitas of the situation, but she knew well enough that these Saiyans planned to kill him. "No-" She growled, body shifting as a sudden transformation hit her. "Let them GO!" With a roar Pursla took the form of the Oozaru, towering above the other Saiyans at a comparatively small fifteen feet. The power increase was real enough where any attempts to subdue the hybrid would be futile as she moved to grab Yurei from custody, leaping off as far as she could into the distant wilderness.
Yurei's eyes had widen in shock as she stated to let him go. His jaw had dropped when she had turned into a gigantic ape and then grabbed him off his feet. He looked at her with amazement as she had white fur covering her.
"Wow, I have never seen a white ape before!"
She had jumped into the air and had reached a far distance from where they were previous. Yurei's cuffs had shattered due to the sheer strength that the saiyan had possessed. Yurei had looked up to see the ape and smiled.
"Still beautiful to me."
Yurei then made his way up the ape's shoulder and looked at the saiyans who was chasing after them.
"Keep going, will watch our backs!"
Yurei began to fire a series of blast straight at his opponents, furthermore, he was now in his rage form as his body began to bulk up like he was on steroids. The ki blast began to become more bigger in size than before. Wiping out the squadron of saiyans that was after them. For now, it had died down and Yurei had rested on the apes shoulder like she was a wall.
"You did good back there. a true friend."
If she had stopped her movement, Yurei had proceeded to jump off her and looking at her.
