Lottus snorts derisively at Vocado's shots. It was a waste of breath to talk to Vocado, clearly. Again, Vocado assumed to know what Rapini would do, and that's all he could do. Make assumptions about the opinions of someone he'd never even met. Lottus, shakes his head, looking defiantly at Vocado.
"No... No, you didn't lose enough." Lottus says, his voice dripping with a cold cruelty. "You still have things and people to lose... I suppose that's what makes you better than me, eh?"
Lottus grins, and his eyes glint with that same cruel bemusement.
"I don't care how much you suffered. You don't matter, Vocado." Lottus says, pulling up onto his knee. "You, the schemer with delusions of grand design for a Kingdom you would run into the ground as hard as you ran your soldiers to their deaths in the Shredder Corps."
Lottus' grin becomes a sneer.
"At least I lost my family, was it? Oh yes, they're gone. Congratulations, you defeated me by way of surviving family - you should be proud." Lottus adds, "Your pain doesn't matter one bit to me, Vocado. You don't matter to me. You can have your little schemes with the Kingdom - play politics with the Tuffles, and beg your own people to play along."
Lottus manages to get to his feet, but wobbles quite a bit at the knees as he tries to steady himself against the rock.
"You don't hate enough, Vocado. You're too afraid of the Kingdom tearing itself apart by boredom. Let it fall. Let it all burn." Lottus growls. "Maybe once enough Saiyans die, the survivors might start getting a backbone. But you... you stay out of my way, Vocado..."
Lottus had enough, and injured though he was, started to limp away.
"Yatapi... do what you can about the Destron." Lottus says, now turned fully away from Vocado. "When I hit Hatchi, most of your people should have gotten out. I gave a friend my word that they would. I'll target the soldiers that get in my way, but my aim will be to cripple the facilities that can make Destron - whether they still are doing so or not. The city won't be destroyed, but... the city will be crippled."
Lottus looks back at Vocado one last time, and smiles; though it is a cruel, disdainful smile.
"Failure." Lottus says, enjoying saying it.
With that, Lottus limps away to find a place to rest, and prepare.
