Growing Pains (Axis)

The space station was a sight to look at. Axis knew he made a good calculated decision to join up with the clan. They had advertised themselves as having resources but he was not quite expecting this. This station was humongous. It looked like it was fitted with everything a small army could ever need.  Somebody clearly spent a lot of money making it operational. The Arcosian couldn't help but be impressed as his pod came gliding into the loading docks.

He had recieved an invitation to do some training. He figured this was a good chance to learn more about his new buisness partner and the clan in general. He was clearly strong but having a rough idea of how strong could come in handy in the future. Allegiances shift all the time so having as much information as possible could play to his benefit. He was also ashamed to admit that he was lacking in the power department and finding capable people to push the boundaries was much easier said then done.

When the door to his pod opened the Heran was already waiting for him. With minimal effort he heaved himself out of his ship. His long blood red tail hit the metal flooring with a loud thud. Axis was a little dismayed that his power seemed less then when they had first met on Arcose. He was clearly holding back. He must not think very highly of this Arcosian. That was ok though. He would just have to force him to keep up and earn respect the fun way

Well let's not waste valuable time. Show me to the training area. I have a lot I want to acomplish, and as you know best time is precious!

The Arcosian couldn't help but smirk. He was excited. He rarely got to play with others stronger then him and this playground seemed perfect. He debated about how much power he should reveal from the start. He considered starting in his base form but honestly he did not like that one for fighting. That form was reserved for the undeserving. This man here was owed so much more.If he truly wanted a work out he would need to raise the bar just a little.

It would be my pleasure. Dont blame me if your clubhouse breaks.

With his mind made up he began to raise his energy. A deep red aura swirled around him. His power began to rise as his form shifted drastically with little effort. He grew a couple inches taller makinf him well over six feet and his already well built frame added a couple pounds of solid muscle. The predominantly white coloring of his skin turned into a vivacious red color until it consumed every inch of him. The two small horns on his head grew slightly larger and his teeth more pointed and primal like that of a wild animal.

This form is known as Red. Not real creative I know but it does the trick. I figure this would be a good starting point. I can go higher to so dont hold back too much

After speaking Axis would raise his right hand out in front of him. Without bothering to wait for an answer he fired a decent sized ki blast towards his training partner. It was about the size of an average sedan. Right after the blast he pointed his left palm at his target from his hip. A second later he fired a thin horizontal Cresent shaped energy blast to follow in quick succession. It was much stronger but It lacked any real power. Hopefully with it being slightly hidden in the shadow of the first would make it work as a good ice breaker. 

As expected, his attack could barely budge the Heran. It wouldn't have been a lot of fun if It did. It didn't take long for the Heran to counter with his own attack. His battle prowress was commendable. It was hard not to be impressed with his overall expierence in general. Axis watched with intrigue as lightning built up rapidly and was launched by his new leader. The static alone could be felt littered in the air. He had never seen an attack that looked quite like that one. It was definitely not something to play around with. He didn't want to find out if it did anything were it to make contact. 

Axis was impressed. His attacks had little effects. He was terrified to think of how strong his opponent would be if he were to not hold back. He was so impressed that when they met for physical combat he was not as prepared for his brute strength and speed as he should have been. With a visous clothesline he was sent flailing to the ground. The air was driven from his chest

Elbows began to rain down from above as he was pinned down be the Heran and left defenseless. Repeatedly they crashed into his face. Each one felt like a mountain had been dropped on him. If the space station weren't so sturdy he was certain he would have gone crashing through the floor to the open space outside from the sheer force. Blood began to flow freely from his face and his vision bounced in and out.

That hurts you bastard! Knock it off!

He yelled out angrily once the initial stun from the blows were to fade away. He needed to try to rectify the poor siuation he found himself in. Using his strong and handy tail he would attempt to wrap it around the Herans waist. If successful he would use his arms and tail and all of his strength to try and fling the monster off of him and retake his feet.

GET OFF OF ME!

He was right. It was supposed to hurt. He couldn't help but laugh maniacally. He had spent a life time in the ring as a prize fighter. He was accustomed to pain. He was right that three weeks was not a lot of time. If they were To be succesful he would need to to push his boundaries more. Plant was bound to have strong fighters to protect it. Axis knew he was strong but he was no fool. He knew there were people out in the universe that were magnitudes stronger. It was time to quit playing around.

Fine. Let's take it up a notch then. I believe this is roughly around where your power level on arcose was if i am not mistaken. Let's see some of what you have been hiding away

With a growl his power level started to shoot through the roof and nearly doubled. The same fiery energy swirled around him. This time it was thicker. It was heavier and reeked of malice. The shape of his body mutated slightly. Red dagger like horns appeared on both of his forearms. They curved around the backside of his hand  and extended about eight inches to a fine point. Razor like ridges covered his shins and his appearance looked overall a little more armored.  He stared at the Heran with a murderous intent that showed all of his competitive spirit.

He proceed to levitate towards the cieling. He extended both of his palms downwards towards the Heran. He let his ki explode out. Multiple nail size ki began to rain down like a viole t thunderstorm. They were quick moving and packed a decent sized punch for being so small. He put all the ki had available into it. His hands trembled and he screamed violently in a  defiant show of force.

SINNERS RAIN

He was breathing deeply from the exertion. It looks like his attack at least had some type of effect. It was not nearly enough to deter him though.The Heran had clearly been in many battles throughout his life. His scarred body stood as evidence to that. The Arcosian himself hd aquired quite th collection. He had just barely begun to catch his breath when the Heran opened his mouth and a blue beam came streaking towards him.

That won't work on me.

He plunged both his hands forwards to catch the blast. It pushed him back a few feet but he held his footing firmly after coming to a sliding halt. He had just relied on his clans natural armored body to absorb most of the impact. It still hurt mightily but Axis was not going to show that. His hands ached and trembled from the force of the blast but he quickly got them to stop. The was a little stronger then he had expected.

This is fun. I've never met Anybody quite like you. What else do you got?

After taking a brief moment to charge up his energy he would then fire a small volley of ki blasts towards his opponent. They lacked any real strength but he wanted to give his chance to recover just a little bit before they proceeded with the next exchange.

His opponent was wise. It looked like all the expierence he had gained was serving him well in this fight. At first glance it looked like he was trying to the same move again with a clothesline. It was a feint though and a good one at that. Axel had reached out to block but his opponent was tricky and decietful. He had leapt into the air to counter. By the time Axis could track him down it was to late. A thunderous drop kick hit him square in the temple.

The Arcosian wailed out from the hit. Pain erupted from his armored forehead. His skull felt like it was going to explode from the force. A shockwave rang out from the point of contact. The lights flickered in and out as he hit the ground again with a bone shattering impact. After the initial bounce The force sent him skipping along like a stone. His body was flailing and twisting in the air. His brain was barely conscious but out of battle expierence alone he fired a another quick Cresent shaped beam at Fukushu as he spun. He put a little extra oomph into in the hopes of catching him off guard before he could fully adjust.  Whether it was countered or not Axis just needed a minute to catch his breath.

That was a good hit.  Im going to have a headache for a week!
Now Tell me, why is someone who is as strong as you  are looking for reinforcement? I'm guessing your expecting powerful resistance! Is there any party in particular  that i should be concerned with?

It took a moment for him to come to a stop and regain his balance and footing. He was still a little shaken from that last attack and the damage was now starting to rack up. This was exactly what needed though. This was what he lived for! He was loving every minute of it. He was more sure now then ever before that joining Clan Bitter Bones was a great buisness decision. There was definitely resorces here that could be exploited in the future.
