His confidence was insulting, but Fukushu did not doubt what he said. The question he had to ask himself is why he had not already attacked. He'd soon have his answer as Kamae explained further just who and what he was. He was a Demon, a God, a Monster; he didn't need to be told that. Many had supposedly fallen to his strength, and now the Heran was approaching the fire. But he didn't shy away from the heat; he'd march along to the park and deal with whatever came his way.
When the two stopped Fukushu assumed it was time to duel. He prepared himself for whatever attack the Demon had up his sleeve. But there was no attack; instead he extended his arm and simply waited. Fukushu didn't know what to do, so he watched. It didn't take long for the beast to show itself; the beast that Fukushu had known existed beneath the thin veil of civility that Kamae wore. He wasn't even sure how to describe the monster, as it looked unlike anything he'd ever seen before.
His first though was to the people nearby. "Get out of here, now!" Yet as he screamed no one reacted; not a single soul seemed to even be aware of what was going on. Was this more of his magic? He turned back to Kamae, who was now merged with whatever creature he had summoned, and for the first time in a very long time the Heran felt fear. Not just fear for his own life, but fear for all beings. He stumbled backwards and fell on his back as the creature continued to loom over him.
He could barely get any words out any more; what was there to say? All he could do was continue to crawl backwards until finally he found the strength to speak once more. "Everything dies. Maybe not today, and maybe not at my hands, but you will die." Fukushu pulled himself back up to his feet and dashed at Kamae. He didn't even really have an attack in mind, but he needed to do something; show that he wasn't a coward. He launched himself into the air and tried to strike with a dropkick to the head. If nothing else he wanted to leave a bruise that would show.
