Donût grined as he made his way through the steel jungle that was Lux. The skyscrapers were like twisted trees of steel and glass and concrete that had not grown according to the laws and needs of nature, but the aesthetic tastes of an alien race. And instead of dirt on the forest floor, it was more concrete and steel. Roads and sidewalks, pipes, monorail tram lines, all to carry millions upon millions of Konatsians (and a dizzying array of aliens) from place to place day and night. For the city did not sleep at night. Instead, it thrummed and blazed bright enough to swallow up the stars of the Konatsian sky. Neon of every color, screens showing advertisements, street-lamps, the blazing headlights of ground-cars that used wheels and flying cars that hovered through skylanes... All of this illuminated a city that knew no rest.
In essence, it was West City all over again, but bigger. Which made it perfect for a variety of types of content. HumDee and DumDee had recommended that Donût record plenty of footage all over the city, and to try out as many different ideas as he could. So, Donût had set his camera drones to auto-follow, and had decided to take a parkour tour of the city. He leaped over tall buildings, dashed through alleyways, and ran in and out and around traffic, moving faster than any car could carry its passengers. He was, of course, careful not to cause any accidents, but how could he resist leaping from the top of a skyscraper onto a hover-truck, before rushing around the sky-lane like a frog leaping over rocks in a river.
And then, for funsies, Donût leaped down from the sky and into a crowd of pedestrians, landing right in front of some short, green, Zoan-looking alien. He flashed her and the rest of the crowd a grin and a two-finger salute, then leaped into the air. It seemed as though all he had done was push with his toes, and yet he soared higher and higher and higher... until he cleared the top of a skyscraper and disappeared from the view of the people on Lux's streets. He was shortly followed by a pair of camera drones, that were set to follow the squat, hairy Earthling wearing a pair of jeans, neon sneakers, and a pink, collared, short-sleeve shirt that said "BADMAN" on the back.
Who was apparently recording a parkour video or something, or so a few crowd members surmised whenever he dipped into their space before dashing off to parts unknown.
