|| Nero’s PL: 70,000 ||
It had only been a few hours after the recent incident in the Dragon Isles, so local folks were still understandably rattled, but thankfully unharmed for the most part. Nero, true to his word, had methodically gone and checked on a whole hell of a lot of people so far, starting from the epicentre of the explosive conflict. If need be, he would give them the blessing of restoration; but the need to do so was few and far between thanks to his actions during the greater conflict.
Getting further and further away from where the worst of things happened, Nero had arrived on a modest little farm. At first glance might seem boring, standard, or completely normal to most people but Nero knew a lot of the locals; and he knew the residents here quite well in fact.
There were only four people outside managing the crops, an elderly Namekian and four Saibamen— but these were no ‘ordinary’ Saibamen, they differed immensely from their Planet Plant counterparts since they weren’t wrinkly whatsoever, and instead of a grooved head that could bloom and spit acid, they each had what looked like plant matter growing instead. “Hey guys!” Nero waved, calling out to the group. Seeing him approach, the lot of them returned a wave once they were able to do so. The elderly Namekian and the oldest Saibaman approached to properly greet Nero.
“Oho! Nero, good to see you!” The elderly faded grey-green Namekian had a slightly hunched back, and a bit of a round gut. Despite this, they were unmistakably muscular and very much able to work on this little farm. Accompanying them was a somewhat gangly shimmering teal Saibaman with a big white and yellow flower growing on the top of their head. “Hi there! So nice of you to drop by!” The Saibaman smiled, twirling their garden tool of choice— a little ornate shovel. “Elder Sida, Deizi.” Nero began with a polite bow. “I’m making sure everyone in this area of the Dragon Isles is safe; did anything go awry here?”
Sida and Deizi looked at each other in thought, nothing really came to mind. “Things got a bit tense, I suppose, we’ve heard about what was going on but it didn’t reach us this far out— I mean, it looked like it could have but all of a sudden it all went away? There was a sudden super bright light in the distance that spooked Dahlm something fierce and the bad tense feeling went away.” Deizi shrugged and a similarly sized red pink Saibaman stomped over— they had a huge blooming red flower on his head, and a few of the petals covered one of their eyes. “Oi, oi, oi, I wasn’t scared, quit it!” He huffed, blowing at the petals over his eyes.
“Den why’d you scweam an’ hug onto Papa’s legs?” The littlest of the Saibamen waddled over— they were a nice fresh green for the most part apart from their limbs which became more yellow at their hands and feet, they were a dinky runt by comparison to the other two, and they had a tiny leafy seed bud growing out of their head— obviously they were also the youngest. “Hey, I said quit it, don’t you start too, Sprout!!” Dahlm grumbled once more before the Namekian spoke up in a kind yet stern tone. “Children, please, there is no need to quarrel. We are safe, and that is what matters.” The three Saibamen responded with somewhat embarrassed nods.
“Your Pops is right, your collective safety is what’s important.” Nero added with a nod of agreement, surveying the area as the group was talking. Since he was in the presence of some Saibamen, Nero couldn’t help but wonder how that one in the cool little suit was doing after that ordeal from earlier...
