The travel was quick, with only the hiccup of an itchy nose. Maybe with time, she can figure out a way to fly without the standard propulsion of the pads being needed at all times. it was something to consider, cause the painful need to scratch her nose caused her to dive a bit. Other than that, the noticeable cold of the north was the most iconic change around the flying pair. The increasing snow, decreasing plant life, and the introduction of far-off mountains. They wouldn't quite get up to them though as the lab rest in a more open field.
From above, this gated facility house a very open area with what are assumedly testing ranges. Barely visible because of the snowfall are smaller craters, blasted soil, and other bits of use. Alongside the edge are a typical set of housing, more akin to apartments than barracks. Though they do not quite look to be in use. Not like the main facility building, which nestled itself right next to a rising hill at its back. A good few stories, and pretty big on the inside too. Of anything around, it was the one place with some visible lights within.
Even the space vehicles look seldom used, parked in a garage nearby the apartments. Not a single soul seemed to be outside to greet them, nor warn them over a typical intercom. One might think they would with people flying so close, but that was the big open secret. This base isn't exactly active. It's more... on loan to Tomino. A hand me down from a colleague. The good doctor would stop in a hover over the place for a moment before turning to Celerous and rocking her head to the side to gesture towards the big building itself.
"Here it is. Main building's where we stay, place only houses a few of us but that's all there is nowadays. Come."
She commands, her jets powering down some and lowering her safely to the ground. Upon reaching the ground she'd stretch her arms. Gave herself and Celerous a moment to readjust before masking their way forwards, checking out her palms and those tiny orbs she had held in place above them. They looked VERY similar to some high-tech android modules at a common glance.
Just making sure they aren't... Strained from just that. She looked a good deal focused in her checks while she walked.
