>> NOW APPROACHING: PLANET PLANT
Deca hadn't been all that eager to resume her spacefaring ways after the short stint of freedom on Konats. Clambering back into EXCEL to once again amble across the stars wasn't an exhilarating prospect, even if she knew it was necessary to continue her current quest. No solid clues on Axi had been found given Konats' divide from other affairs until recently. There were a few planets near the sand-stricken one Deca could've visited first, but something within the girl compelled her to seek out only the largest and most famous (or infamous, in this case) planets this galaxy had to offer.
Her square pupils dilated slightly, finally registering what the A.I. had said. Stifling a yawn, Deca clambered up from her cramped bedchambers and into the cockpit, psionically tapping into the systems so she could get up to speed. The journey from Konats to Plant was a stone's throw away compared to her initial launching point of Planar, and for that, she was thankful. "Locate non-military spaceport installations and attempt to establish communications, request permission to land." From what scraps of knowledge she had gathered, Plant was known to have once been a planet ravaged by war - but now had settled into a sort of peace brought about by the King of Saiyans. Frankly, Deca knew almost nothing about what a Saiyan even was, but she was due to find out.
"I hadn't expected this kind of terrain." If Deca had lips, they'd be pursed right now. EXCEL's initial scan and summary report on her immediate surroundings were disappointing, to say the least. A veritable copper-hued wasteland of crags and valleys, with little to no wildlife or motes of civilization outside the established cities. The Planarian had been cleared to approach 'Sadala,' but a rapidly sinking feeling informed her that she might not even want to. "I can't just give up when stuff gets rough." Her sigh was thankfully muffled by the ship's malleable cockpit still in place. "Let's see... what do first." There was a heavily guarded palace where, presumably, the King lived. Having learned her lesson from Konats, Deca knew it'd be no easy feat to be granted the audience of an important figurehead, especially for reasons that were seen as facetious like hers. Whatever the case, nothing would advance with her sitting around in her spaceship.
These people seemed much like the Konatsians, only without the pointy ears or vibrant hair colors. The tail most sported was something of interest, too, but Deca didn't find the time to study it further. She received plenty of less-than-friendly stares from the armored locals, the girl somewhat nervously floating along the city streets with no destination in mind. None of them had been outright aggressive or openly rude, but even someone as socially inept as Deca could tell when her presence was being questioned so strongly. "I sure hope the rest of the galaxy isn't this intense." It would make gathering the courage to actually ask anyone much harder. The Planarian may have been obliviously powerful by most standards, but that didn't mean she was a fighter by any means.
