The Heran froze. Like a morbid statue, he stood, defiant of his death until the end. "Ahahahaha! I'm growing quite fond of this little rascal. A shame he attracted the ire of Sesame... you think he's actually dead this time?" Marrow had no strong opinion one way or the other. Without confirmed vaporization or destruction of the heart or brain, you could never truly be sure. The nasty blow Dosu endured to his head seemed to at least be enough to concuss the hunter, if not worse; Marrow couldn't imagine a kinetic wave of oscillating energy would do anything good to someone's relatively soft brain. A quick sweep from the assassin sent Dosu tumbling into the ocean depths, his attempted killer seemingly satisfied.
"Yeah. Usumi will live. Their fighting form, though, I am currently unsure of." The swords wielder being out of commission for any extended length of time would dampen Sesame's plans (she assumed). The reminder that he expected a meeting in South City was almost enough to elicit some sort of reaction from Marrow... though not quite. The girl nodded numbly, expression neutral. "I'll be there after getting some medical treatment if that's alright with you." Falling to subservience and asking for permission to do otherwise common sense actions would aggravate most, though Marrow merely took the development on the chin.
The Demon departed, taking the unconscious Yogu with him and speeding off across the ocean. A deep sigh escaped the girl's lips, eyes screwed shut as the rumbling destruction of Battle Island continued around her. "Hey, turns out the blue one isn't dead. He's knocking on Yemma's desk like a lunatic, but lucky for him, the big cheese isn't home right now. This lil' man will be right as rain... in a month or two." Why Eris had decided to abscond with Dosu after his hostile interaction with Marrow's new boss was beyond her, though questioning the Shinjin's methodology was never something the Saiyan would do.
The grip of magic on the remaining platform she stood upon weakened, metal groaning and twisting as it began to join its' brethren in a watery grave. The frothing water had turned pink, blood from countless victims slain today enough to stain even the ocean. Her mind wandered to other topics, even as her feet lifted from the falling deck into flight. Kombu would surely be a persistent thorn in her side if he had lived. Such a strong sense of justice and a willingness to sacrifice his own well-being just to damage her meant Marrow would have to be wary of the Saiyan in any future encounters. Russ was much the same, even if his battle power was comparable to hers. And Yogu... would be wishing he was dead after Sesame deduced he was lying.
