It was a strange feeling, healing. One moment you've lost an arm, and your brain won't stop sending those annoying little pings of pain as blood and viscera dirty everything up at the stump. And then, like the magic it actually is, everything neatly stops as flesh and sinew are made anew. Marrow grunted in acknowledgment as Eris' tingling magic washed over her, replacing the lost limb with no further fuss or fanfare. "Thank you." She said politely, tone seeming genuine only in its' insincerity. The Shinjin simply laughed her little, snorting laugh and waved it off: "Oh my dear, how polite you are. Imagine your grade-school teacher seeing you like that!" The half-Saiyan moved her restored arm around experimentally, replying: "Most of them did see. It was only later that I stopped." A childish frown creased the lesser Kai's lips as she sighed in mock hurt, dramatically throwing her head back. "Oh! Woe is me! The caretaker of one with such wit and guile."
Marrow, either wisely or simply because they didn't care, hopped up from her seat and looked around. "Why are we here again?" Right. It was not an everyday occurrence to be on some random alien planet. Much less get into a severe scuffle with a wild beast and have a perfectly fine limb stolen because of it. "You need to get out more! I know Earth is our cozy little rendezvous point, but you'll NEVER turn out as a well-rounded GOD if you don't bother to see the sights in the galaxy sometimes!" The teenager grunted noncommittally, purple eyes shrewdly scanning their surroundings. Eris had taken them to some sort of mobile spaceport, the galactic equivalent of a fancy gas station in the middle of bumfuck nowhere. There was a myriad of Aliens milling about, most of them likely frazzled middle-class workers simply trying to fuel up their ships and indulge in overpriced, stale junk food since everything else was closed at this time of day.
"No. I mean, why here?" They repeated the question with a further emphasis on HERE, giving Eris a moment's pause as the Shinjin seemed genuinely taken aback. "I did what you asked. Research that is. This area of space is noted for being dangerous. And one of the few bastions where people as products is still practiced." Marrow seemed entirely nonplussed at the situation but was nonetheless curious as to what Eris could be trying to accomplish here in the first place. "Something about blue aliens being the most common culprits. Herans?" Waving that notion off immediately, Eris corrected the assumption: "No, we're too far west for them. Just another blue species. Starts with a C, I think? Not important right now!" Whipping out a bag of spaceport brand chips, Eris ripped it open with a wide smirk before popping a single crisp into her mouth. "Or maybe it will be. Who knows! The main point is to try and acclimate you to more natural dangerous situations. The folks out here are accustomed to battle power levels like yours, and that means you'll need to do more than hit everything in sight really hard to succeed."
Marci's lips twitched into a frown for a fraction of a second before returning to their default, uncaring state. "I hate strategy," She mumbled darkly. "I'm good at fighting in the heat of the moment. Do I gotta learn this too?" At times like these, Marrow's inner teenager truly struck, the hybrid sulking slightly at the thought of more intensive brain exercises. It wasn't genuine disdain or hostility, and the half-Saiyan was more likely to brush past it in the next five minutes, but Eris found it endearing when she actually showed some semblance of emotion. "Yep! It'll be good for you, hun. Wipe the rust off your gears and maybe even teach you a thing or two that someone like me, as skilled as I am, cannot."
