Renkon had been looking for his next target in these wastes. The ruined and damaged landscape told a story to him of a level of devastation that was unmatched. It was slow, almost insidious, in how it spread, the way the Saiba creatures of all times evolved in bursts and fits. The mists that filled some areas were just as dangerous. Renkon sighed a bit, looking over the body of the dead saibaman, another voice silenced, another spirit given their vengeance, and he was a little more at peace. He shook his head once and then looked into the distance. There was still a lot of work to do. Perhaps he could find one of those Tuffle masks, the ones that filter the air, and explore the ruined city a bit more... That might be helpful for rooting out those who still needed to be granted vengeance.
Shaking his head once more, he floated off the ground, heading towards a ruined outpost. Landing on the edge of the barricades, he frowned a bit. He had lost his family dealing with these outposts, the cities. It was a war, but it didn't make it sting any less. The war was over, it was about rebuilding now, refining what they have, and continuing on. He picked up one of the old blasters, looking over the small weapon in his arms and leaning it against the wall. Bones rested on the ground, long since picked clean by the animals of the wastes, Renkon focused his energy, slowly displacing the dirt and soil, moving it all aside so he could at least start to bury the remains. The whispers were there, always there, but this wasn't as bad, as if giving a burial to bones was less of a call for vengeance. There was a lot he needed to do, but this just felt right in the here and now.
"...Go away." Whereas the newly resuscitated Amara was usually one for smiles and games, she still had boundaries. Sore spots that, if pressed, would cause the serious hardened soldier and guardian to put on a snarl and lash out with a ferocity that was wholly unexpected from her. The Saiba-beasts that crawled from the primordial acid soup were ruthless mutants, a second set of invaders to compound a war-torn planet plant's absolute misery and desolation. She'd lost comrades to them before. Forced to watch as the flesh melted into a black sludge as it dripped from their bones, all at the behest of some unwanted monster that couldn't keep itself in check. And then those same creatures dared to try and take part of the planet for themselves?
Her words were spoken at the edge of a Ki-empowered palm, Amara staring the startled Saibaman down before atomizing it without a shred of mercy. There was work to be done if the goal of restoring Plant's ecosystem would ever come to pass. Develop the proper tools, figure out a way to employ it large scale, and exterminate the filth from the Saiba wastes along the way. They were primitive beings hardly capable of rational thought, emotions on par with an Earthling canine at BEST, and at worst were nothing but unstable acid bombs waiting for a target. Many warriors trained on them for sport, but Amara had a very solid plan, which couldn't be set back by the green monsters.
Renkon didn't exactly have a scouter... Or the ability to sense energy. While his own senses were heightened, he was not expecting any one out here besides the Saibamen and Saibabeasts. The voice was jarring to say the very least. His eyes lifted up as he saw someone vaporize the body of a Saibaman, blinking once as he tried to make sense of the scene that had just played out. "When I am done..." Renkon answered, if he was being spoken to. Better to be wrong in that than to simply ignore her. That was a fast way to end up in a fight.
He lifted the next bone, careful and cautious, placing it with the others in the pit and went back to what he was doing. For the most part, the Saibamen didn't bother him, but there was a weird... Almost nagging in the back of his mind. He shook his head again before looking at the woman, one eye closing as a choir of voices welled up, both in rage and in celebration at revenge being offered. It was... Jarring to say the very least. If he had not been on the found, he would have dropped almost instantly. Instead he held the side of his head, gritting his teeth and shaking his head again.
"I don't even know who they are, stop it." Renkon growled, taking a deep breath to try to steady himself, steady his mind. It was like attempting to calm the waters under a hurricane, nearly impossible by most means. He exhaled slowly, focusing his mind on the task at hand. "Let me honor the dead with a burial... It is the least I can do for the fallen here." He was trying to remain as polite as possible, given what was happening in his mind.
