Peace on Plant probably meant Saiyans were allowed to roam free within Tuffle territory. At least, that's what Cato assumed to be the case, and she made absolutely sure she didn't give anyone the chance to tell her otherwise before she struck out on her own. She had already made some progress in her short tenure on the planet. Most notably, she had gotten her crash-course introduction to Saiyan society, and then managed to exchange some of her leftover coins for one of the fancy technological 'scouters' that seemed so popular here.
But while she certainly found an easy home in the Vegeta Region, she didn't feel quite ready to deal with the rigors of whatever this next war that she seemed to have volunteered for would entail. For that reason, she struck out on her own into the Lychee Sector, towards the Berri Forest. She had heard idle rumours that the fruits of the forest had remarkable restorative properties, so much so that medical science on the planet relied on them.
There were probably a dozen ways to take that, but Cato assumed that meant there were magical, disease-curing berries ripe for the picking.
That made a lot of sense to her.
She made it to the forest without too much trouble, but once she was there she found herself lost in a wilderness teeming with more life than she imagined had been on a dozen of the last planets she had visited. She hovered at a low speed, inspecting various leaves, flowers, fruit, and yes, berries, in search of one with the requisite magical properties. She would need something like that, if she was going to fight off an army of Arcosians.
She paused near one bush in particular, kneeling down into the grass. The berries seemed to her to be particularly shiny. She was no expert, but that seemed like a good indication that they might just be sufficiently magic. She clicked her scouter on, and set it to analyze the fruit.

She let out an irritated sigh, and then reached over to pluck one of the berries off of the bush. Without any better ideas, she resolved to just try one out. That couldn't possibly go wrong, right?
