"Are you certain about this? I doubt any of the Force would take issue with you waiting longer to sort everything out Ise" Orenji was… nervous about Ise’s abrupt shift in handling the NSFW, as it stood the force had effectively been in a holding pattern without Hibernal at its helm, Ise had very much not been ready to jump into her new role as its leader and of course with Azoth controlling Arcose there was of course the question of if they were even actively apart of the Empire anymore, those who had remained loyal were all much like Ise fairly staunchly anti-Azoth a sentiment that only grew with the at least public changes the man had been working to make in regards to how the Empire operated.
Even once Ise had been pulled out of her despair things had remained fairly stagnant, Ise however had seemed at least as far as Orenji could tell, hesitant to actually take up the position her Father had occupied and while Orenji had attempted to broach the subject a few times she had been mostly unwilling to speak at length.
A few hours ago though Ise had paid the main deck of the ship a visit it had been originally to have Orenji move the ship to Hatchi as she had an interest in the Tuffle city, however the preparations for that departure were halted when a transmission came through, one of a number of similar report on rebellion among current Empire controlled planets, some had occurred in response to Azoth’s light-hand n regards to keeping control of the outer planets, some however were now occurring in the wake of his disappearance.
Even though the transmission had only been overheard by the communications officer and likely would have just been ignored due to their presently dubious connection to the Empire, Ise had heard it, there was little the young woman DIDN’T hear, she had asked for clarification on the planet in question.
“Get us in the air within the hour, I will handle it.” had been her simple response, Orenji had clarified what exactly Ise had intended and with just a bit of hesitation they had been off.
Now Ise’s ship along with several other NSFW ships were in orbit over Heifong and Orenji stood behind Ise as she stared down at the planet.
“Very certain. Father would have done the same. If Azoth IS gone the Empire has a chance to return to its proper ways, if that is to happen it needs a sense of stabiity, the sort of stability only we can provide” Ise said with a small grin “I’m already fairly familiar with Heifong, they’ve apparently been like this for a while from what Father had told me, he had paid them few ‘visits’ every now and then to keep things running smoothly. I got to join him on his last visit here about two years ago. I believe you were away at the time, when your sister was not well?” That made it clearer for Orenji why Ise likely felt invested in dealing with this rebellion in particular.
“That sounds right, I can have the troops ready to join you on your order, all indication we have say that there should be few if any members of the rebellion that can actully harm you as long as you use at least a small portion of your strength.” Part of Orenji pitied those participating in the rebellion, by all accounts Ise presently had FAR Hibbernal’s final form’s power even at the peak of the mans strength, before sickness and age had crippled him.
They had neer stood a ghost of a chance against him and now they would have to face an even MORE insurmountable force.
Ise seemed VERY amused by that and Orenji’s scouter beeped a few times as it registered a sudden dip in Ise’s power as she dropped it down to less than a third of her base strength. “I don’t imagine even this amount of handicap will change things but perhaps it will give them some hope” Ise said with a laugh, a hope she intended on very firmly grinding out when she inevitably revealed if not her full power at least her unhindered power.
With that Ise exited the ship and took off for the planet below.
It only took a few minutes of flight and pushing her senses to pinpoint an active skirmish between the rebellion’s forces and the Empire-aligned forces of Heifong, the rebellion was… surprisingy welll armed from both what Ise could sense and what info she was being fed from her visor, a quiet drone of statitstic and descriptions of the various weapons of war on display, apparenty the Heifong rebels either had this planned for some time, or someone was supplying them wit a proper millitary’s worth of equipment as Ises visor indicated the presence of several Hover-Tanks backing up their forces.
With a smirk Ise pushed herself to her top speed and plowed into one of the tanks, going just slow enogh to avoid just punching through it entirely, still the metal warped and collapsed under the force of her strike and then warped further as Ise pulled back and dug her claws into the side of the tank sinking through it’s metal like paper as she got a good enough grip to lift the whole thing.
All battle came to an abrupt stop as Ise casually lifted the tank into the air and launched it with great force at the other, which then cause the two coliding tanks to fly into the third.
“Good evening everyone, my apologies for the interruption. My name is Ise Wintergreen, daughter of Hibernal and new leader of the New Space Force Warriors. It appears in our absence you have been inflicted with the delusion that Heifong will be leaving the Empire. I am here to fix that.” Ise wore a smile that perhaps thankfully the rebellion forces were mostly incapable of seeing as her message was relayed along the local scouter network.
With that Ise released a hail of energy blasts, non specifically targeting any forces, frankly a direct attack on any of them was almost certain death, no instead Ise chose to give them a chance by simply completely upending the battlefield and sending the forces into a very prompt retreat.
She doubted things would be solved with just one display of force but it would make the eventual ‘negotiations’ far easier.
