It was a good thing nobody really went to the Destron-clogged ruins of a city that had been lost to time. OK, well maybe that was to be fully expected, but it was useful either way. This was the same place she had DIED fighting Yangcong, and while that might've been enough to make some folks suffer from stress or remembering death... Amara couldn't really care less now. She was alive, Yangcong was dead, and his questionably insane son was missing. If anything, she should come here to revel in her prolonged victory over that guy's sociopathic bloodline! Nah. She was here to test out some new concepts. Amara's old tech had primarily been left behind in Heaven, AND with the whole Ki Disorder thing, she had nothing better to do than make new stuff.
Blasters, armors, gasses (not Destron), and even a new favorite of hers that she actually already had working: quantum hardlight. It was a soupy ball of charged hardlight particles that, when linked via magic, could make perfect copies of her gear. Sure it was in limited supply and whatnot, but the possibility of duplicating Ki charges mid-combat to further power effortless blaster shots was too good to pass up. Of course, she had nothing to really use it with yet, but that'd come with time! The process behind Ki charges was still the same; it'd just take some time to extract and refine enough for it to help power her stuff. "3! 2! 1!" Countdown complete, another ancient went crumbling under the heavy fire of a handheld energy pistol, the device hissing as it automatically recalibrated itself. "Heh. Nice."
