Coming home back to Central City was a nice change of pace, especially after how hectic things had become at her university. After weeks of endless class, heavy assignments and just rushing around to meet deadlines, Krim was glad to finally go back and just take this time to relax and wind down for the weekend. It had been a few months since she last left them for South City. As much as she was grateful for an opportunity to study at such a prestigious performing arts school, she had gotten quite homesick. The heat and the tropical atmosphere of the South were nothing in comparison to the bustling urban setting of Central City. Of course, she couldn't wait to meet with the rest of her family.

As disheartening as it was to hear that Miru wouldn't be returning, she would at least see her parents, Yogu and Chomei again. Goodness, she couldn't help but wonder how all of them were. This had been the longest time she's gone in her life without seeing them after all. Although she had tried to keep in contact with frequent texts and calls, they were only just a pale imitation of actual social contact. Hopefully, everyone was healthy and happy. Of course, she also had to worry about herself to make sure they wouldn't have to worry for her either. Adjusting the purse she slung over the shoulder and walking over to the conveyor belt to grab her luggage, Krim made her way down the airport terminal, sending a quick text to the family group chat to let them know about her arrival before slipping her phone back into her bag.

Patiently, she would wait outside the terminal, humming a nostalgic tune to herself as she waited for someone to come pick her up. She wasn't exactly sure who she would be meeting, only that someone would be coming to see her soon. Not that she actually cared who, seeing as she planned to visit everyone before the break ended and she would have to return back to university for college once more. However, she still couldn't help but wonder how everyone was doing.

Well, Yogu tried living life on the run. But he quickly found out that once he was out there, it was really hard to do that whole living thing when you had no marketable skills and did nothing but get into trouble with incredibly dangerous and powerful people. But, hey! That's life! Just gotta roll with the punches. It seemed like everything ended up fine, and his little adventure that he went on to run from the police was all over nothing. They were never even looking for him! So now he could just chalk his little excursion out of Central City up to a vacation. An incredibly scary and weird vacation, but a vacation nonetheless.

Yogu slipped back into his house quietly, finding that no one was home. For the first time in a few weeks, he finally got to bathe, and charge his phone! "Oh hey! Krim's home!" Well, not home home, but she was in the city! Yogu couldn't remember the last time he and his siblings were all together. "Guess it must've been when we graduated high school, yeah? Chomei was there too." With all that had happened recently, Yogu's mind had been on picking back up on seriously training his martial arts and getting stronger. His time out of Central City had gotten him used to actual fighting rather than just pummeling, and he'd been getting stronger as a result. He was eager to see how he stacked up to the rest of his family. Krim especially, Yogu always had a tough time when the two of them sparred. And he never got her back for breaking his arm with one of those wooden training swords!

Back to the present, Krim needed someone to pick her up. Yogu didn't have access to a car, but he did have a bike! So, he rode it over to the airport to go see his sister.

After a pretty long bit of getting lost riding around the airport, he finally found his sister. "YO! KRIIIIIIIIM! HEEEEEEEY! IT'S YOGUUUUU! YOUR BROTHERRRRRRR!" He brings his bike to a quick stop and throws it over, charging his sister and bear-hugging her. "What's up?! How's all the big-brained college stuff? You been keeping up with your sword training?! Have you heard from Miru?!" Yogu drops Krim, "What do you wanna do today? I'm super bored, so let's do something fun!" He'd also heard that Chomei was supposed to be showing up sometime soon. It'd be nice for the three of them to all get together again and hang out. Only a few months had passed since they'd graduated but it had felt like ten years for Yogu! It'd be nice to finally tell someone about all the crazy adventures he'd gone on while wandering.

A smile creeped onto Chomeis face as he pulled up to the Airport. It'd been a very long time since he'd last visited, When was it... graduation? He couldnt recall. Regardless, it was a bit too long for Chomeis liking, and after hearing that they'd all be meeting up (minus miru, sadly) he raced back down from the frigid, northern wastelands. The Omer siblings were quite special to him after all; being an only child, he viewed them all as his own brothers and sisters. Finally arriving, he'd slam the door on his truck and stomp up to the airport.

He frantically dashed from terminal to terminal- scanning the numbers as he tried to find where Krim would be landing at. Eventually, his eyes settled on two familiar figures standing nearby- Targets spotted.

He leaped forth, grabbing the two simultaneously and lifting them up. He squeezed them tightly, bombarding them with all sorts of compliments and questions as he did so- "D'aaaw, you guys have gotten so dang cute! Look at ya big ears!! Yogu whats with da scruffy haircut...aw nevermind, it fits ya so well! Hows college goin..."

Eventually, he regained his senses and quickly put them back down, but he was still pretty ecstatic to see them. Calming down a bit more, he figured he should just ask simple stuff for a bit... And so he did- "Heh... so uh, how've ya guys been? not getting into much trouble I hope..." he asked, eyeballing yogu as he spoke.

An extremely familiar voice caught her attention as she was waiting for someone to come pick her up. She could recognize that voice from almost a mile away. Of course, it wasn't long before she was wrapped up in a bear hug. "Yogu! It's nice to see you again." She said, in between breaths. She missed her brother so much. "It's going good, a bit hard but I like it. Haven't heard from Miru though." She was ready to try to squirm her way out of Yogu's grasp when another set of arms wrapped themselves around not only Krim but Yogu as well.

"Chomei!" She squeezed, smothered by the hugs that she received. If only her arms were freed so she could return the gesture towards the two of them. Well, the guys in her family were always the huggers so maybe it was better if she just left that to them instead. After letting them hug it out, once she was released Krim would take a brief moment to regain her breath before speaking. "It's going good, how about you two? It felt like it's been so long." Well, it was only a few months really, especially when she had just come back for the winter holidays. However, after spending her life with her family it felt odd being on her own for long periods of time. Not that she didn't mind it, she could still text and talk to them all the same.

"I was talking to Miru last night, she said she's having a blast in college although she can't come back this weekend. Maybe this summer instead though." She explained, recalling the conversation she had with her sister last night. It was a shame they couldn't have the entire family back for this reunion, but hey three out of the four of them wasn't that bad. It now felt like good old times seeing how they were all here. "Dunno, it's been awhile since I been back so why don't you choose." Krim said in response to Yogu's question of what they should do. Honestly, she was fine with anything. All she wanted to do was hang out with her family some more.

Just as Yogu was winding down from hug mode, another hugger came out of nowhere and sneak attacked him and his sister! That was quite the wake up call that he needed to get back to training. What if his grandfather could see him now, getting snuck up on like that? But hey, that sneak attacker was Chomei! That was a face he wasn't expecting to see! The only greeting he could give was a wheeze, with his back, and lungs, and whole body being crushed and all. Finally, he was let down. After brushing himself off and realigning his spine, he finally had something to say, "Krim, my hair's not that scruffy right?"

Now came the question of, how has Yogu been? Well, that question had an interesting answer. He was about, seventy or eighty percent sure, that he accidentally exploded some hopefully abandoned building in Central city a little over a week ago. Following doing that, he ran away from home and went on a little adventure around the tropics, fighting some stranger claiming to be a goddess and stealing gold from pirates. Now, that was all fun and stuff, but the aftermath of his romp was probably going to be an issue. Chomei and his siblings finding out wasn't what concerned Yogu, it was what his parents were going to think of this 'little vacation' that worried him. But also, the airport was a pretty awkward place to drop all of that on his relatives. "Yeah, all good here Chomei! No trouble from me since I've been left here on my own with little-to-no supervision!"

Now it came to what they were going to do today! Well, it didn't seem like Miru would be showing up, so that narrowed it down a bit. Yogu's mind went back to thinking about his training. He hadn't seriously trained since their grandfather had passed. He couldn't remember the last time they all sparred. "Alright, let's go somewhere to eat and then go FIGHT!" Yogu pumps his fists in the air and starts chanting, "FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!"

It truly was a shame that Miru couldnt make it today, Chomei visibly pouted when she'd been brought up. "Havin a blast all by herself uh... instead of with us" he quietly groaned, scratching the back of his head as he spoke. "...Well, atleast she's doin good..." he'd relent, his mood picking back up as he spoke to Krim again. "Oh! i've been good... trucking company's doin ok... uh, guess i've just been very bored lately..." he'd explain, thinking back on the last couple of months.

Chomei begun squinting fiercely as yogu spoke, his concern clearly strewn across his face. Yogu was just as big a troublemaker as Chomei was, so any number of things could've happened in the time the two were apart. Regardless, Chomei warily muttered- "ooookaaaaay..." and hesitantly put the matter behind him. This was a reunion, after all, he didn't want to sour the mood by prying into all of Yogus (likely immense) wrongdoings over the past few months. He'd simply have to take Yogu at his word for now.

Eventually, the topic of what to do came next. Chomei was pretty content with any suggestion truth be told, and when Yogu suggested going out to eat- he was all for it. But the part that came next shocked him. Fight?? Chomei was a determined martial artist, but he could never lay a hand on his precious little cousins... not to mention that from what his Dragon Senses could pick up, they were both way weaker than him. "..uhhh i don't know about that Yog-" he started, immediately being interrupted by yogus frantic chanting. It seemed he was pretty excited for this...

"........well... it should be alright if I dont hit him too hard..." Chomei silently resolved, begrudgingly saying- "Alright... sure, we can do that.....". So with a lackluster resolve, Chomei would follow after his two cousins, stuffing his hands in his pockets as he walked. Hopefully it was just some light sparring or something...

Krim did her best to stifle a giggle. Since she grew up with him, she never particularly paid attention to her brother' hair, more preoccupied with her own to actually care. However, now it had been awhile since she had last seen him, she couldn't deny that there were truth in her cousin's words. "Maybe, you can do better though." She said, her voice taking a light teasing tone. Nonetheless, she missed that scruffy hair of his, and just everyone in her family in general. Compared to her life, theirs probably wasn't as hectic as hers, especially seeing how it appeared as if only the girls of the family had decided to go to college. Nonetheless, she was glad at the very least to see that Yogu and Chomei didn't get in any trouble while she was off, moreso the former than the latter.

Her attention turned towards Chomei who appeared a bit upset that Miru didn't come back. "I'm sure you'll be able to see her during this summer," Krim said, trying to comfort him the best that she could. Well, she wasn't particularly sure herself, seeing how hard it was to get ahold of her sister. It was as if she was too busy doing her own thing to talk to her own family, something Krim thought was a bit rude although she understood that people were busy with their lives.

Out of nowhere Yogu suddenly began to chant, wanting to eat before fighting. This caught Krim completely off guard, clearly a bit shocked and worried seeing how she was out of practice. Unfortunately college didn't leave her with much opportunities to go practice, only enough to stave off the beast within her. However, she quickly pushed that thought away instead giving them a nervous smile. "Sure, but let's focus on the eating part first. Oh gosh, I'm starving." She said, rubbing at her stomach. "Airplane food just doesn't do it for me." At the very least, this would hopefully by her enough time to at least come up with an idea or excuse of what to do when their spar would begin first.
