And there it was. That sudden aroma of pristine arrogance spiked as the blast was deflected away harmlessly from Ward's trajectory. The guy just unleashed some form of his strength with so much as a thought it looked like. Most Saiyan he knew had to work at it. Either through that technique, some had, or a specific time of the day. Where the moon shone. The few who couldn't do the giant monkey still had their inner rage to tap into. That wasn't really much different for Dark. Perhaps because he's only ever able to tap into that wrath. Being a monkey wasn't exactly in his repertoire, even with such an obvious tail.

"You've been learning a lot, huh? Most only need to do it when they are in a real serious struggle. Be it as the giant Oozaru or the more subtle variants, all of us can tap into that rage. That Wrath. It's no different for me!"
The simple solution was to piss him off very immediately. Which, with Ward rushing suddenly with even another power increase he wouldn't be level-headed long. Being outmatched for any period of time was furious, even if someone like Dark knew it was all a relative game. He doesn't even get his arms up before taking the elbow to the head and tumbling across the small plateau they stood atop of. The Saiyan catches himself from rolling over the definite cliffside with his feet and hands digging into the dry dirt.

"... The hell do you want to see all of me for? I'm not some little lab rat!... Whatever!"
Both his ears and tail stood on end as he hissed and picked himself on up. Shaking off some dust and grime before forcing his fists into claws. Standing upright and tensing his muscles. Arms bent out beside him as a yellow aura suddenly flared around him. It was a slow drive up to start. The cat growled as yellow sparks bounced off from around him. A sudden flare-up from the aura happened suddenly afterward. Throwing off some sparks and dispersing. Leaving the kid's eyes glowing and a constant stream of sparks and electricity jump off him. From his hair to his legs. It could be seen just as it was felt, and those sharp teeth are on display while he keeps a snarl.

"Does this do it for you!?"

Yeah. Dark didn't really do the whole 'keep quiet and learn' thing. He liked speaking his mind. Even the shinjin didn't seem to stay stoic and quiet, as much as he seemed to want with how he seemed to belittle the nature of their wrath. The cat Saiyan would have to remember this offworlder doesn't really know of their ways though. Instead assuming his reservations was that he couldn't pull it out freely.

"You're a strange one. Is this how all you types act? - Whatever! I frankly don't care now what you could possibly be doing trying to egg me on and give advice. Just so long as I get a good fight from it and better know how to deck you next time!"
That's as far as he'd concede, smashing an electrified fist into the palm of his other hand as he squared up. Lowering himself into a stance and pulling apart his hands. Revealing that link of lightning present between a sudden two yellow ki balls appearing in his palms. Supercharged now, essentially, he was going to unleash another full-power chain lightning.

Hopping up into the air last-second, he'd shove both palms forwards to unleash the ki blasts at the same time. Putting a twist on them and keeping them linked by that electricity. With any luck, this spiral cascade of energy would give Ward a run for his money. Pushing the saiyan harder than most friendly fights among his kin would go, for reasons that might seem obvious to them. They'd blow up their own damn capital always going all out.

So, Wad was going to be like that huh. Just silent and contemptuous. It sorta pissed him off how easily he kept getting out of the way of his blows. Distraction or not. And what's worse was that it didn't seem to be any more than a test of futility. Even with some more debris and dust kicked up by the blast he had some feeling he was about to not have a good time.

He doesn't even have the time to turn as Ward's presence behind him spikes. Feeling the grace of a chop into his neck that sent him reeling in the air and wincing. A low belly growl coming out from the saiyan as he tenses up and fell lightly to the ground, onto his feet. Without so much as complaining though the saiyan hopped on back at where he could feel Ward. This time diving straight at him with the roar of lightning around him. His body performing as a spinning drill with his arms out forwards to smash into the Shinjin.

"HYAAAAAH!"
He wasn't about to relax. Not in this highly emotional form he took up. Stopping him would require a more... direct touch.

Dark uses a 6MP Ki Cost Reduction to lash out again with a Violent Corkscrew

Dark was hit with the strongest whiff of energy he'd sense in... EVER, actually. A violent assault on his nose, like pouring vanilla extract into your nostrils. Even as the youth completed the action of slamming his spinning form and fists into the man's chest. Both motions stopping up against a sudden wall. He was a LOT sturdier than the last time he managed to hit his Corkscrew. It'd leave him recoiling and jumping back from his attempt at a devastating strike. Only now did he see what was being formed above him.

"Eh?"
The silent types weren't really his thing. Even if he sorely needed a lesson in punching up before something REALLY bad happened to him. And him just conjuring up what he ASSUMED was more magical illusions like the last meteor storm wasn't going to paint any pretty pictures in his head. He'd stare up at them a moment before squinting back at the Shinjin putting up this boulder.

"That's a new one. Trying to test me again? Aren't those things just-"
Oh man, maybe if he didn't speak sometimes. When it hailed, it was hell. And very suddenly Dark was faced with the real threat of annihilation. At first he figured he'd just move around them at minimal risk like before, ignoring his senses. But when the first sharp stone carved into his armor and struck him it was something different. The strong scent of burning coals stung his nose as they continued to flurry down.

And in his attempts to avoid some of the poor little rocks, he's smashed HARD with one of the larger bits mid-jump. Sending him on course back down to the earth and to crater under the boulder. There's a stillness under that bit of debris, up until the storm finally subsided. Where Ward could both feel and see that rock pushed up and off the saiyan through sheer will. Even with his armor cracked and blood dripping from the top of his skull he was able enough to wretch the thing off him.

"Was that... it!? It's going to take... more... more than that... to finish... !"
Midway into tossing the boulder back, that sparking around his body started to fade, as did his raging and crazed eyes. Easing back into those auburns as they lose that yellow lustor. His wounds were perhaps more severe than he was taking credit for. He stops to take a knee as the fatigue gets him. Grunting at the sudden pains. One last hand tries reaching out at he Shinjin before hefalls face-first into the dirt. Labored breathing slowed down to an unconscious drawl. It was hard to tell immediately if he was going to live from passing out mid-concussion, but he was at least breathing.
