Jackie was no native of the planet. But to travel around the planet; To understand it and its people, it was one of her own quests in the grand scheme. Fend and Co. came as one to train both physically and spiritually, along with dealing with Phakk, and Jackie knows well she could use more of one than another. She didn't know many Earthlings who could give her a good run for her money in either category really, but she was somewhat compelled by a feeling left within her from the time spent around Korin's tribes.
Mention of the late Grand Elder and his village held among the Dragon Isles was eventually a spot wrested from small talk with those around the god Porunga's statue and her time spent in tribute there. So it would not be a far trek to approach the village. This was not some pilgrimage she was taking, far be it for an outsider to do such a thing unannounced, but it was something she would at least tackle on foot for the last stretch there. Wherever she could. Why not, since it was apparently located relatively close enough.
The villagers would feel her approach before she even saw it in full view. Slowly heeding way to greet the newcomer. The sun monk could sense this sort of movement too. It was much like many of the other villages she's had good company with around most of Namek. She's still not used to seeing so much of a people poke their heads out and greet visitors. She was quicker then to come upon the place as to not make them too nervous and offer the small gathering out front a small bow with her fist and hand clasped in front of her.
"Good day, all of you! Earth sends its regards in me, as one of its guardians. Not only that, but I come at the behest of my own enlightening journey and wish to learn more about your planet, people, and ways. It's something I want to take back and better apply back home."
From first-hand accounts as well as some secondhand anecdotes, she had seen the place as somehow eerily peaceful. Even with several different tribes and foreigners running around. It would be unwise to learn nothing here. This wasn't the first village she spoke with either though. Plenty of the other villages before this were not as interconnected with the roles of Porunga and Guru however, so she would press it here, now that she was given an opportunity.
She could feel eyes on her as she rose back from her bow, crimson eyes idly scanning the small group out as they initially seemed apprehensive. It might take a moment for someone to come further for her. Deep breaths, she wouldn't let the lack of an immediate answer get to her.
