|| Nero’s PL: 40,000 ||
Every now and then, Nero would visit the Shrine of Porunga, it was a calming place that made introspection and meditation easier. As much as Nero had preference for a location closer to where he lived he couldn’t deny the benefits of visiting this holy ground sometimes.
Now though, unlike any other time he had found his way here; he had begun to feel something in this place. A presence, one that he could not understand fully just yet. Something keenly similar had happened when he went to Guru’s Forest most recently. However, it was markedly different enough that Nero did not immediately make any reasonable connection. It would warrant more investigation first, he needed answers, for everything that had recently been plaguing him ever since his strength had dramatically increased ever since the incident in the Northern Scar.
So, Nero made his way into the shrine silently so as to not disturb anyone that was praying or meditating here. He observed the happenings of the shrine and soon his gaze fell on the ancient statue of Porunga and his altar. Nero would stare straight into the eyes of the Great Dragon’s visage for what was to him, barely a minute, but to others around him, almost half an hour, his gaze was completely unflinching, unwavering— to the local citizens and priests this was somewhat unnerving, yet interesting. There was a strange pressure coming from Nero at this moment, nobody dared approach for fear of what might go wrong.
Fortunately, Nero would eventually blink and look around with some confusion. Everyone had shuffled around, and they were now staring at him! “Huh? Oh, sorry friends, did I interrupt prayers? My apologies.” Nero smiled somewhat bashfully, seemingly unaware of whatever phenomenon that had just occurred.
