Memory found herself being flung backwards, the explosion of light and power picked her up and threw the girl into a parked car, which crumpled around her with the impact. Before she had gained this power, the girl had never imagined that there could be so many troublemakers and violent events occuring in her home city. She supposed that she did hear about these things pretty regularly on the news, but it felt like every other day there was something that needed her to step up and intervene, some terrible crime that needed to be stopped.
In her full Pretty Sailor form, Memory and her bright pink outfit certainly made an impressive sight. The brilliant blue visor over her eyes crackled and fizzled as she shook her head and pulled herself out of the wreckage.
The android she was facing off against reminded her a lot, in many ways, of the one that had so rudely interrupted her party and her good time with Rinako. Where Jarhead had been a relatively normal man, though, this android was bigger and definitely a lot more advanced. For a start, he wasn't wearing any clothes!
His entire body was made of smooth metal which, so far, her opening attacks hadn't so much as scuffed. His 'face' was one black screen on which a band of red served as his eyes and a band of blue as his mouth. She was mostly assuming that he was male because the voice had a distinctly masculine form to it. But the thing that reminded her of Jarhead was the fact that his body was studded all over with tiny nodes; and power sparked between those nodes in a constant buzzing burr. Whatever technology it was this was based on, though, it had obviously come on a long way since that first guy turned up.
"Do you understand now, 'Pretty Sailor' girl?!" He crackled, "I, ELEKTRO, will be your end! We'll take that little engine from your chest and use it to CONQUER THE WORLD!"
The heart beneath her outfit shone more brightly at the threat, and Memory brought her hands together in front of her, summoning the Rod of Hope to point it, dramatically, at the assailant.
"The power of hope can never be used to conquer!" She exclaimed, "I don't know why you are doing this, but you should give up now whilst nobody has been hurt! Just stop! You can always choose to start over and make the world a better place!"
She didn't really expect her words to reach him. It'd be nice if they did, though. She wasn't exactly telling the truth when she said that nobody had been hurt after all; that attack had definitely hurt her. But at least the villain's attention was focused on her; most people had fled pretty quickly when all this had begun, so she didn't need to worry about protecting any innocents.
She just needed to figure out how she was going to deal with him when nothing she'd tried so far seemed to be working...
