Hello from the other side [Zuqetta]

Zuqetta had to admit, it would be pretty exciting if such a legend were true; even if it did seem pretty childish, but who was she to criticize such things? She wasn't a small child, but it wasn't like she was a full grown adult yet either. Indulging in the imaginings of such a legend should have been right up her alley; just so long as it was grounded in the realm of facts at least. Just as she diluted the makings that Zriracha referred to a 'magic' with her own understanding of Science; she would do the same with the understanding of the supposed Super Saiyan.

This would be something she would choose to think about at a later time however, as her request, had been accepted!

As Azoth released her surge of energy, Zuqetta would quickly place some distance between she and Azoth as a thought suddenly clicked in her head.

"Gah! Just remembered, waitwaitwait!!"

She'd remove her sweater, folding it up neatly as she looked around the area; they were in the sky, and interrupting the fight for a quick trip back to the surface hardly seemed fitting. She wasn't about to let her precious sweater get destroyed in this fight however; she was just glad she realized she was still wearing it in all the excitement.

"Spooks!" Zuqetta would call out as she gave a snap of her fingers.

Within moments, her little orange nimbus with the rather interesting smile would fly up from the clouds below; screeching to a halt just before Zuqetta, laughing under it's breath as it awaited her orders.

"Take care of this buddy!" Zuqetta would say as she placed the sweater on the cloud.

With a salute with its wispy tail, the orange nimbus affectionately referred to a Spooks would rush off; taking care not to lose the object of its assigned task as it flew back to to the surface below. While the encounter might have been strange, it was something she could explain later; Azoth had his own yellow cloud after all, so she didn't believe he would be too confused by the appearance of Spooks.

"Hehe, okay!" Zuqetta would exclaim as she allowed her power to erupt around her once more; taking on an offensive stance as she did so, "Let's do this!!"

The sleeveless, short styled, elastic underlay she wore beneath her sweater had certainly seemed worn out; it'd been her only outfit over the months after all, and she'd been in a good deal of scuffles with the saiba-beasts of the wastes. The initially black underlay was faded, torn in a few places, and seemed to be loosing its elasticity around the shoulder straps. Still, it would be enough to last for one last battle before being replaced; Zuqetta fully intended to return to the Freezing Horizon after this, so there was no reason not to go all out!

Whether Azoth was being serious or not, Zuqetta had full intention of taking this exam seriously, and rushed upon the foe before her with incredible speed. Bringing both her hands to her waist as she charged, she was ready to show off to Azoth the tricks she'd picked up over her time in seclusion. With a burst of light, a greatsword comprised of her energy would form within her hands; quickly taking shape and size, becoming much larger than she was. With a sharp grin stretched across her face, Zuqetta intended to start strong; filling her blade with light as energy surged through her body.

"BRAVER!!!"

As fast as she moved, it would be completely in vain against the superior power that Azoth now wielded. She would bring her sword down upon him, with every intention to inflict as much damage as possible; but inside, she knew that what was possible wasn't necessarily plausible. As her blade came down with incredible force and speed; Azoth would seemingly vanish from her sight, almost as though he had teleported. Although he had merely moved to the side; her eyes simply couldn't keep up with the incredible speed he wielded. As such, there was no way she could prepare for the follow up strike that Azoth had sent her way.

"OOF--"

There wasn't much more that could be said as Azoth's fist impacted her abdomen; a seemingly painted target considering how everyone she fought went straight for it. The punch would nearly send her flyinf off; before it could however, Azoth was quick to follow up the punch with a wave of energy for added effect.

"WaaHAHahAHAhAaaaH!!"

Zuqetta would spiral off through the air at an incredible speed as she felt the energy reverberate through her bones. All she could do was thank the fact that they were fighting in the sky; had they been planet side, she'd once again be skidding across the dirt or hurdling through some trees, boulders, or buildings. It took effort to finally bring herself to a halt; upon doing so, she nearly felt like vomiting, Azoths strike had had a hell of an impact. She would contain the urge however, merely allowing a few coughs out before readying her sword once more.

"T-take--" She'd begin, coughing a few times before quickly catching her breath, "Gonna take- m-more than- more--" Her tail would frizz up as she continued, before she would surge with energy once more, "More than THAT ta take ME DOWN!!!"

While a sharp pain surged through her body, all Zuqetta could feel was the excitement. She was going to lose, this much was certain; but the power Azoth had just now displayed was inspiring. Most importantly, that wasn't even his most powerful attack; Zuqetta could tell, Azoth was holding back. He was holding back, and yet the power of his strike had just about equaled one of her most powerful attacks.

It was terrifying... and exhilarating!

Lifting her massive sword above her head, the blade would begin to visibly fill with energy; before quickly, she would swing it down, sending a weak wave of sharpened energy towards Azoth. She wouldn't stop with one however, as again and again she would swing her sword; sending multiple blade beams down upon her foe in quick succession.

"ARARARARARARARARARARARARARARAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!"

Zuqetta's own consecutive attacks too the wind out of her; but as she gazed down upon Azoth, he was... smirking!? Back when they fought on the beach, her distraction techniques had at least served to be a hindrance; yet now, it seemed like nothing was fazing the Arcosian Emperor. He had effortlessly dodged one of her strongest attack, and had laid upon her a significant amount of damage with a mere pulse of energy; the level difference between the two was clear, but even more so was the difference in skill. While Zuqetta may have wielded a great deal of raw power, her techniques were wholly unrefined; meant solely for the sake of either inflicting or soaking up damage.

She would cease her onslaught of attacks, refraining from expending further energy on something that clear had no effect. This didn't mean she was finished however; while her ranged attacks may have been useless, her blade might not have been! Zuqetta would charge in quickly behind the final blade beam launched; hoping to remain hidden behind it as she lifted her sword over her head and brought it down for a physical strike.

"Have an OVERHEAD STRIKE!!!" She would shout out as she brought her massive sword down upon Azoth.

"Got him!" Zuqetta would exclaim excitedly, only to quickly realizing that her strike had exhibited no effect, "GAH!" Taking last minute notice of Azoth's change in energy; Zuqetta would blast backwards as quickly as she could, feeling the heat of his energy as he lashed it out at her.

She had managed to strike him, which was far more than she had ever done before in their previous fights; but she wouldn't stop there, she couldn't! She needed to play off the momentum, and fight with all she had; if she couldn't so much as lay a scratch on him, then she could hardly consider herself improved.

"Hehe, bring it on!!!" Zuqetta would exclaim as the two began to clash with their respective blades.

Azoth's movements were far too quick, far too precise for Zuqetta to possible match; but the sharp grin stretched across her face would not waver. She would recall the first time she ever trained with Vennel; she had experienced a fight much like this back then. Vennel was quick and well trained, easily seeing through Zuqetta's deception; but even then, Zuqetta had fought with all she had. Though she'd never won a fight with Vennel, before Vennel's disappearance, she had at least succeeded in landing a strike.

"FULL! POWER!!!!"

Dashing back through the air once more from Azoth, Zuqetta would burst forth with all the energy she could muster before careening towards Azoth's incoming Guardian Strike. Just as with Vennel, Zuqetta would try her best to make the next strike land...

No... she WOULD make the next strike land!!!

"MAXIMUM BRAVER!!!!"

Expending every ounce of energy she could bring forth, Zuqetta would clash directly against Azoth's Guardian Strike in an attempt to overwhelm it. Whether she succeeded or failed however, this would be her final strike; as the mere act of performing this technique began to immediately sap at her consciousness, causing her Raging Spirit transformation to begin to waver.

She had done it; in a dramatic display of light and energy, her blade had connected with Azoth. Whether it had been through luck, skill, or some other force, she had damaged the near god like entity before her; but with that strike, Zuqetta would find the previous rush of energy she held now no where to be found. Her vision blurred dramatically, and the sounds around her began to muffle; in spite of this, Azoth's final words broke through, prompting a smile to come across Zuqetta's face. Even as Azoth's final attack overwhelmed her, Zuqetta found satisfaction in her progress up to this point; she wasn't as rusty as she had previously believed herself to be.

Another punch would come Zuqetta's way, but she would be unable to move in any functional way in which to defend. As the punch landed, and the following shock wave overwhelmed her; although her wounds hadn't gone too deeply, Zuqetta would find her senses overwhelmed and would pass out from the impact, thus ending the bout on her side.

Zuqetta's transformation would be undone and she would begin falling from the sky; as she did, the sword gripped in her hand would begin to steadily dissipate into energy. The battle was over, and though it was Azoth's victory, Zuqetta's aforementioned smile wouldn't leave her face. Still, unconscious as she was, Zuqetta would careen back down to the planet below haphazardly; it was a dangerous decent, but even should Azoth have not decided to catch her, Zuqetta's trusty Nimbus would be ready to save the day.
