It had been a hectic time recently and the last place Ward wanted to be was in the mortal realm. Spending time on his home planet wasn't much more of an option at the moment either given the lectures he'd get for being away for so long, those that so any recent actions and would either scold or praise him, and everything in between. The Otherworld in general was a good place to get away as those he would look to stay away from would almost certainly not be where he was planning to go. Once and a while he liked to check in with those recent arrivals to the afterlife, finding those mostly from the southern quadrant and talking to them about what was happening to them, about what had, and what was to come.
More often than not he'd find himself in hell, as there were those most known for being evil, but more than that those that didn't fit in with the evil types and didn't quite do enough to get to heaven. His destination was one far less traveled, and the heroic types and their ilk bothered him as much as those crazed evil typed, but sucking it up was something he forced himself to do now and then.
It was usually just a matter of finding out who had died recently, how they had died, and his own curiosity just how strong they were. Not all those that had just arrived were up to long conversations, but wait a few weeks and they were getting antsy for conversation. Surprisingly it was far easier to get the information he needed about those in heaven, but perhaps it was just a matter of the people there and not limiting any of their interactions, so it was a simply matter of asking the right questions of the right people, and of course being a Shinjin didn't hurt. All he needed was to see who died from the northern quadrant from the planets Plant, Earth, or Namek as they were the only ones he had visited, how recently, and start narrowing it down.
"Is this list right?"
Holding out a surprisingly small list to the person behind a desk had handed him after his qualified and filters, they took it, looked it over, compared it to one they had and handed it back.
"That's correct. Lots of Saiyans and Tuffles recently, guess Plant is having some issues. Normal average amount from Earth and a lower amount than usual from Namek."
Looking it over he didn't recognize any of the names, but what better way to meet them and greet them for the first time than starting alphabetically and making his way down the list.
"Where can I find this Amara here? Says they are a Tuffle."
The one behind the desk at this point was looking up impatiently, clearly busy, but answering every question all the same. Holding his some sort of ball after looking it over for a moment, it began to glow and showed the image of whoever this Amara was and their location. Reaching out and touching it, Ward stared into it for a moment then vanished, leaving the man rolling his eyes.
"Shinjin, I swear. Is there something wrong with walking and flying like the rest of us around here?"
No more than five feet from where Amara was Ward appeared, hands behind his back with overly proper posture. He wasn't tall, but for a Shinjin he was above average at five-foot and seven-inches. meaning he wasn't towering over her but looking down at her due only to size difference. He was quiet as he looked her over, before clearing his throat.
"Pardon me, but are you Angelica wait, no -"
Pulling the list back up to his face he squinted at her name before slipping it out of sight into his coat.
"Amara? A recently deceased of the species Tuffle if this information is correct."
