GENERAL INFORMATION
Name: Iyre
Alias: “Oh God It’s Her, Run!”
Age: 18
Gender:Female
SPECIES: Heran:
CUNNING CUTTHROAT: Once per-thread you can prevent an opponent from using an item on their next turn. You must be within 60% of their power in order to use this, and it must be clearly stated in your post.
DURABILITY: Once per thread, after all other damage reductions, reduce an incoming attack's power by an additional 40%.
THIRST FOR BATTLE: You start with the Max Power technique for free during character creation. In addition, Max Power no longer drains momentum per turn, but you can not gain momentum either.
GENERAL TRAITS:
MIMICRY: If an opponent has used an Offensive or Defensive technique against you already in the thread, you may use that technique in turn as if it were your own. Does not apply to Sparking or Merging Techniques. May only be used once per thread and does not carry over to future threads.
IMPOSSIBLE RECOVERY: If you are defeated by taking Critical Damage in an Action Thread, you can choose to be dealt a Wound and continue the fight with whatever HP you have remaining. If defeated again, you will be dealt an additional Wound. In a non-AT thread, this allows you to resist Critical Damage once, and you do not sustain a wound.
STARTING PLANET: Namek
HOME REGION: To be determined
CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
APPEARANCE:
Even for her people, Iyre is a towering example. Some 7’2 in her normal form, this increases 9’4 in her Unbound state, and tops out at an even more awe-inspiring 10’6 if she combines that with Max Power.
Iyre is very much your Heran’s Heran. Teal-skinned and absurdly muscular, she wears her orange hair in a mass of spikes which splay out from her skull in a fashion reminiscent of a starburst. Although she is only 18 years old, her body already bears the scars of many hundreds of battles, and unlike many tall people, she doesn’t make any effort to lessen her presence.
She most commonly wears the classic mercenary battle armour that is so common amongst her people; hers is a dark purple with a red central panel and ‘skirts’ which she has decorated with trophies from her various conflicts. These are mostly scraps of armour, dogtags and a few smaller skulls from defeated foes.
BACKGROUND:
Iyre grew up amongst her people on Hera, the daughter of two Heran warriors who had an ill-fated fling and left her as the lingering reminder of their poor decisions. She doesn’t remember too much about her mother or her father, as the few times they were in the same place they almost always got into a fight. As soon as she was old enough to survive on her own, her parents left her to do just that, as is quite common amongst Herans.
As she grew, it became obvious that Iyre had inherited her people’s fanatical love for battle. Amongst the street urchins and scum of Hera, she gained a reputation for ferocity that few could match. She had a lot of anger in her in those days (hell, there’s a lot of it in there NOW!), and she took it out on those smaller and weaker than herself – which was most people she came across.
But Iyre’s capacity for violence was to become her ticket off the planet. Herans value strength above almost anything else, and she was recruited into several crews, working as a mercenary, bounty hunter and pirate before she reached her eighteenth year.
The adolescent Iyre only really considered her position when that age came. As she was drinking with her current Captain, she realised that she hadn’t undertaken the most important Heran rite of passage; she didn’t have a planet to call her own. She didn’t even have a crew! And despite her formidable abilities, she was still far weaker than any of the Herans she had worked with over the years.
Across countless battles, she had learned how to use her raw strength to the fullest – but she could only grasp more complex techniques for brief moments. True, her ability to do so at clutch moments had been the difference between life or death several times, she could never seem to hold the instinct in her head for very long.
So, she decided to take her leave. Across her travels she had heard of many planets in the galaxy, and many powerful people. One place had kept coming up over and over again, though: Namek. A peaceful world filled with surprisingly powerful warriors who had mastered many of the more advanced techniques which eluded Iyre.
Reasoning that battle alone had failed to teach her much, she arranged passage to the quiet planet, intent on forcing the inhabitants to teach her their secrets so that she can claim her first planet before she reaches an embarrassingly old age!
COMBAT INFORMATION
TECHNIQUES: You start with Three Standard Technique Slots and One Sparking Slot that you can use any way you like. Some species start out with additional slots, or access to certain slot-based abilities for free. You also start with two additional Utility Technique Slots.
If allowable I’ll be going with 'Unbound' ‘Unchained’ ‘Unfettered’ ‘Unrestrained’ ‘Unrepentant’ and ‘Uncontrollable’ for the transformation tree; each stage representing more access to the latent power within Iyre.
Also, just to note, this is Sheri's alternate character!
STARTING LOADOUT: I’d like to start with 6000 pl and 2000 zeni please.

Light Offensive Technique || Brutal AssaultADDITIONAL NOTES: I’d like Anger Point renamed to ‘Unbound’ please.
Iyre’s standard punches, kicks, headbutts and throws are not refined at all by the standards of most martial artists; but what they lack in elegance they make up for in raw power.
Power: 40%
KP Cost: 2 KP
Variants: None
Medium Offensive Technique || Planet Shaker
A bright green sphere of power which explodes upon impact with an opponent.
Power: 70%
KP Cost: 4 KP
Variants: None
Heavy Offensive Technique || Tectonic Smasher
Two Planet Shakers – one in each hand – are slammed together to form an even BIGGER ball of power which packs a terrifying punch!
Power: 100%
KP Cost: 6 KP
Variants: None
Heavy Sparking Technique || World Breaker Cannon
A raw blast of power which puts everything that the user has into a single wave of energy launched from both hands.
Power: 150%
KP Cost: 6 KP
Variants: None
Support Technique || Max Power
You may opt to increase all techniques by 10%. This will drain Momentum at a cost of 1 per turn and prevents you from using evasive techniques, escapes, and blocking escapes. You will be unable to gain any momentum during this effect. If you run out of MP while using MAX Power, you lose its effects immediately and can not gain any MP on your next turn. You may only deactivate MAX Power at the conclusion of your turn. You will still lose MP for the turn you turned it off on. (Free due to race)
Utility Technique || Flight
By some means, usually through a skillful application of your ki, you are able to fly through the air.
Utility Technique || Ki Sensing
A technique that allows you to sense, measure, and differentiate the ki signatures of ki attacks and all living beings without the Anti-Sense trait. Higher ki signatures are easier to sense and can be sensed at greater distances than lower ones. This technique is passive and does not use KP.
